Very comfy, nice Riad inside the Medina of Essaouira. Just 100m to one of the main streets, but still very quiet and peaceful. The staff very friendly! Breakfast also was one of the best we had in Marocco!

Welcoming hosts, very helpful, friendly and informative. Ideal location, 2 minutes walk to a large souk, 5 minutes to the beach, a small bakery 2 metres across the alleyway, 20 minutes to the bus station (no point in taking a taxi, the hotel is in the middle of the mdina). Breakfast is delicious - omelettes, hot fresh bread, fresh fruit, etc served by owner Fatima in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable - the best sleep I've had in a long time!

The Riad is in a quiet side-alley with a short 5 min walk to everything :-) you come out of the sidestreet and are already on one of the pedestrianised passages with shops , restaurants, Cafes, ATM etc. At night we did not hear a single thing, only the birds early in the morning. The breakfast was in a separate room on the roof terrace, clevery set up, so that the morning sun would enter the room through a wooden "wall" with a lovely pattern, immersing the room in a special light. Breakfast was one of the best we had on the trip. Bread probably came from the little bakery just opposite the entrance door to the Riad and was very good. The room was spacious with an extra sofa area, so really ok to stay for a little longer as well. Wifi was great, the best we had. We were received with Tea and some lovely sweets from a Patisserie. All was very easy and friendly. would send my friends here anytime.

So peaceful and welcoming, beautiful home and lovingly managed by the owner, this was a family home until recently and has been converted to a wonderful Riad. Welcome includes mint tea and local tasty pastries, breakfast was varied and so much we couldn't eat it all, try a Moroccan Crepe, so yum! Beds comfy and room spacious, bathroom had everything you need including some toiletries, not suitable for wheelchair users but anyone who can manage stairs will love this place.

The Riad has charm in spades. It is beautifully decorated, functional, clean and the owner is friendly, informative and a pleasure to talk to. The location is very central. The room was beautifully decorated and large with separate seating area, with the comfiest bed I have ever slept on and a fantastic shower with plenty of hot water.

Pretty, traditional riad in great location in the central medina. Plants, lots of birds, roof terrace, good breakfast. Room had bed area, seated area and bathroom along one side of riad. Very comfortable and quiet.

“A comfortable relaxing experience”

Beautiful little paradise off the busy medina. Spotlessly clean with a traditional family run Riad feel. It had a very authentic feel and lovely hospitable hosts but not intrusive. I would happily go back!

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This may be the best place we ever stayed in hospitality wise. They’re thoughtful, ready to help when you need it and even bought some stuff for my girlfriend who was recovering from being sick so she had something to eat. By far the best Riad we stayed in during our 2 week roadtrip in Morocco.

“An excellent location for exploring Essaouira”

This riad is in an excellent location, just off a main street full of restaurants, cafes and shops. A man with a carroca was sent to meet our taxi at the gate to the medina, and he showed us to the riad about 5 minutes walk away. We were welcomed on arrival with traditional mint tea and delicious pastries, while our bags were delivered to our room. Our suite was large with space for extra beds (behind a privacy curtain), a large seating area and a fridge.

The location of this Riad is perfect! It was very convenient for us to come back from our strolls in the medina of Essaouira to wind down a little. The staff of the Riad are very sweet and welcoming. The cats were also sweet! The breakfast is worth mentioning as well.
