We stayed in the apartment as a family with kids and enjoyed every moment! The place was clean, spacious, and fully equipped – exactly like in the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed for light cooking, the beds were very comfortable.The location was excellent. The host was kind, responsive, and attentive to any question or request we had. The apartment is big, much bigger than we expected. It is well equiped and the balcony has great view. I wish there was salt and oil in the kitchen but other than that, everything was perfect.

This is our 4th time in Espot and this is, by far, the best apartment and the nicest host we've encountered. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches to make your stay enjoyable; a Nespresso machine with capsules, fresh towels every couple of days, detergent for the washing machine, and yummy cookies as a parting gift. There is also secure private parking in the garage. The mountain views are marvellous, the location quiet and peaceful, yet a 5-minute walk from the centre. There are incredible hikes just outside your door. This is a really special place. The host is charming and genuinely cares about your well-being. It was a real pleasure meeting him. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

“Excellent and comfortable flat for Hiking in Parc Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici”

We were kindly given an upgrade and staid in a bigger flat. The host received us personally and explained everything and gave us useful info on trips to the National Park. The flat was fully equipped, lots of space for our clothes, with full choice of kitchen tools, all in very good condition. The beds had the most comfortable matresses I ever slept on. From the 2 balconies of the flat we were allocated, there are nice mountain views. It was useful to have a washing machine on the same floor for common use (washing powder is even for free). The sofa in the living room was huge and very comfortable to sit on. Being able to park in the same building and to reach the flat by a lift was useful for discharging our luggage. I personally like that we were able to separate waste and that liquid soap and shower gel were for our disposal, environmental-conscious! Espot: Small grocery shops, bank, pharmacy and baker are in the village center , 5 min walking distance. Taxis are available in the village to take you to the national park, if you do not want to undertake the almost 2 hrs walk to reach it and still have energy for a several-hour hiking tour. But check their operating times! By car you can also undertake daytrips to other valleys (Cardos) and villages such as Vielha on your own.

The apartment is perfectly located for walks around Estany de Sant Maurici. It's very comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Our host was outstanding with his service and help. The booking was made very late, with about one hour's notice and he made the effort to go to the apartment and turn the heaters on as it was a chilly day. He then gave us detailed and appropriate advice on the walk the next day. Fantastic stay.

“One of those gems in the Pyrenees”

Apartamentos Les Picardes is one of those gems in the Pyrenees. We spent a weekend during off-peak season and were truly rewarded, The views from the Apartments are first-row to the Estany de Sant Maurici park, with access/entrance to the Park at 200m. The place is calm and well maintained, with fully equipped apartments.

Excellent service and accomodating for a very last minute arrival! Big sized apartment, comfortable beds, beautiful views and and great to have cooking facilities. The host was very helpful. Fantastic to have an underground carpark too!

Beautiful apartment and a great base for hiking. Very warm welcome and any questions asked both before and during our stay were answered extremely promptly. The whole building felt very clean and secure. We were very comfortable and if staying in the area again would not hesitate to rebook.

Everything was perfect. Due to my knee pain, I mostly stayed in the apartment but I still spent a great time. Facilities are modern, very clean and all functioning; esp bed mattress is very comfy and beddings are clean warm and fresh. The flat is very spacious with a bath tub which is perfect for post hiking hot bath! The scenery I got to see everyday from balcony bathroom and bedroom are lovely autumn mountains with the sound of fresh stream nearby; very idyllic. The owner/manager is extremely kind helpful professional: perfect english, always accessible through messengers for many different questions AND saved my luggage! (I sent my luggage from Taull to Espot using SEUR to hiking over the national park then SEUR doesn't pick up nor have a plan to deliver my luggage. The owner called them again and again until they schedule the pickup and delivery and complete it. During this process, he always kept me updated which assured me. Very homey place and exceptional service!

“Where Rustic meets modern comfort”

Very spacious and well-equipped apartment. There is actually a large parking garage with automatic door and an elevator that takes you right up to your room. Everything clean and functional. Very friendly, multilingual, and communicative host who left us fresh sheets and towels even though it was a short stay. He also left us a packet of homemade breakfast cookies on our last day. Great experience all around.

Host was exceptional, very accomodating and explained the hiking trails and how to get from place to place.
