The cabin, the lake and sauna, all is perfect and beautiful. Host is also very nice and helpfull. The location is also perfect, close to Helsinki and Nuuksio national park. Lots of nice trip available.

“Glamping”

This is a five-star cabin! Extremely clean and cozy, in the middle of marvellous nature, plenty of stuff to do in the surroundings (feed white reindeer, hike in Nuuksio, do a trip to Helsinki). Sauna every day was surreal. Inside it was not cold at all despite snowing on the outside. Kitchen is really well equipped, traditional bathroom was no nuisance at all but make sure to pair it with sauna first. For me as a city girl, this was an excellent balance of adventurous stay in the nature and also comfort and spa.

“Perfect escape!”

Simply a lovely lilttle cabin a short drive or longer walk from the national park. All mod cons, but still a touch of 'cabin life' with a fireplace, traditional sauna and temperamental toilet

“peacefull time in nature”

It is a beautiful little cabin near the lake, with nice veiw .It is very quiet pastoral. The cabin is very well aquiped and has many facilities.It is very privet and has many trees and bushes around it and a path to the a little beach.The host Piippo, is amazing, very kind and willing to help when ever is neede, and allways available.

“Perfect Place for a little break in the nature”

We felt very comfortable in the cottage by the lake. The cottage is very cosy and very well equipped, with everything you need. The private sauna and access to the lake was our personal highlight. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice time and the stay in the cottage was definitely our favourite part of our trip to Finland. Thank you very much for the wonderful time, we would definitely come back!

“A dream cottage to rest after hiking in Nuuksio”

Our dream night in Finland! The house is very cozy and accessible via local transportation or car. Poppii was very welcoming and prepared for us an AMAZING salmon soup that we'll never forget. The cottage is very clean and feels very new. The fireplace is very warm and safe and easy to use. The sauna is perfect, and the ability to go sit by your own personal pier with a coffee ( or swim in the cold cold lake) is just splendid. The lake is beautiful. A real slice of paradise that we won't forget — thank you Poppii !

“beautiful, relaxing and comfortable.”

we were 3 girlfriends traveling together and saw this wonderful place listed. our hosts were extremely kind and generous, they were very available to any little query we had. the cottage is located in a beautiful private spot, we enjoyed a boat sail on the lake and went hiking around the magnificent nature reserve. we had no car and the public transportation was easy. the sauna was a real treat!

I loved the possibility of making fire in the stove of the living room and also the sauna worked with fire not electricity.

Location is just marvelous, quite and close to Helsinki. Sauna Is big enough for two, cottage has all the equipment needed for pleasant stay. The lake Is about hundred metres away, close enough to cool Down. There after the sauna. And of course, the burning toilet Is just mind blowing. Owner Is a great couple.

Well-equipped and clean cottage, perfect for three persons. Beautiful location that is easy to reach either by car or by bus from Helsinki/Espoo. The host was very friendly and available in case of questions. I can definitely recommend a stay.
