“Stunning aesthetic, beautiful pool, sleepy location”

As other reviews indicate, the decor is simply outstanding. The entire place is like a design magazine, with thoughtful details and a minimal yet beautiful aesthetic. The pool area is a dream, and each night they lit candles and a campfire which really enhanced the mood. The welcome cocktail was a wonderful touch (especially after the long drive to reach the hotel). All food was fantastic, albeit pricey compared to Mexican standards ($150pesos for a bottle of sparkling water!!). We had 3x dinners and breakfasts on-site, and everything was delicious and plentiful, with generous portions.

“A wonderful oasis hidden in a traditional Mexican pueblo”

Such a stylish boutique hotel! The renovation work of the old colonial property has ensured that many of the old features have been retained- tiling, doors, original walls The garden and pool area are a total oasis! The rooms are tastefully decorated- love the semi open feel of the bathroom with the plants outside the glass wall next to the shower. Very comfy beds and luxurious bath products Welcome cocktail and tostada a real luxury Restaurant - amazing quality of food - artistic presentation Breakfast- probably the best we’ve had in a hotel Staff- fantastic! Professional yet friendly Loved the authentic local town of Espita- the real Mexico!

“Amazing boutique hotel with a great restaurant”

Amazing boutique hotel. Incredible design and amazing restaurant (we had breakfast and dinner 2x here). It’s a very peaceful setting which feels more rural than the small town it’s in. Staff were very helpful and accommodating - providing us with takeaway breakfast one morning when we needed to depart early. Would absolutely recommend.

Casona Los Cedros is much more than a hotel. The rooms are serene, filled with natural light, and open onto preserved gardens. The welcome is warm, the cuisine refined, and the entire atmosphere feels authentic. A peaceful haven not to be missed in Espita

Everything was absolutely incredible—I highly recommend it! The vibe is immaculate, and the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. The cuisine is outstanding, both at the restaurant and at breakfast, offering a modern twist on traditional Mexican flavours.

Casona de los Cedros is a beautiful converted historical townhouse in the small Yucatecan town of Espita. The grounds, rooms and pool are beautiful and it feels more like a resort than a hotel. We only stayed one night, but could imagine basing yourself here and doing excursions to sights nearby and coming back to rest by the pool with cocktail in hand. The breakfast and food was all local, fresh and lovely and presented with an eye for detail.

“Super nice and quiet place”

This place is a gem. Rooms are big, comfy and clean. Matraces and pillows are very good quality. The restaurant with his outstanding qualitiy is onother highlight. We stayed 5 nighst and had 4 times dinner. At the end we eat everything from the menu. The place itself has a lot of charme. The pool with its comfy lounges are also the perfect place to chill in the afternoon. Five minutes walk to the center of town. Breakfast also very good. If you look for the real mexico you have to visit Casona los Cedros. We can not wait to come back. Thank you very much.

“Beautiful spot in the Jungle”

We had a lovely stay. The room was very cool, with a huge comfortable bed, and great air conditioning. We stayed in rainy season so we didn't get much chance to use the pool, but it was beautiful, as was the breakfast, welcome snack and we really enjoyed sitting in the bar area. Staff were all helpful and kind, and we used Spanglish to communicate :) They organised some nice massages for us.
