The hosts were delightful and go the extra mile (or indeed, extremely kindly drive the extra kilometres to you if - like me - you cycle off without your wallet!) The rooms comfortable. The dinner and breakfast copious and delicious.

“Exceptional stay!”
We had a very enjoyable stay with Leif and Lucy. The accommodation is first class and they are both very friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Lucy and the breakfast the following morning was one of the best we have ever had. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Le Balcon des Jasses. Hope to return one day.

What a wonderful hotel! Late at night we received a very warm welcome, the breakfast was exceptionally good and we much enjoyed our stay here after a long day of traveling back from Spain.

Exceptional, truly exceptional. As frequent users of B&B’s and hotels throughout Europe Le Balcon des Jasses in Espere must be one of the very best, if not THE BEST, that we have ever experienced. From the first ‘Hello’ to the last ‘Goodbye’ the service and attention to details was outstanding. Leif and Lucy are fantastic hosts. Everything possible was done to make my wife and I as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The evening meal and the following breakfast were incredible, Lucy is an amazing cook. The room was comfortable, clean and very inviting with little details seldom seen in other B&B’s. Worth every penny. We will definitely return.
