“Self contained sanctuary!”

A wonderfully equipped, comfortable and self contained accommodation with a stunning balcony view (including hummingbirds, a massive lizard, vultures, butterflies and many more animals!) I was only able to stay one night, but wish it had been longer! Highly recommend for anyone wanting peace in nature.

A perfect place to stay, close to the ferry, because Puntarenas is a ugly city. The place is more beautiful than described and pics can show. The hosts serve a generous and delicious breakfast. The apartment is equipped with everything, there is nothing else you could wish for. Just a 100% recomended. Thank you to the beautiful family our hosts for having us stay with you. The accommodation was neat, tidy and with all the facilities needed. The view in the morning was pretty. The host is very nice.

“Very pleasant facility in lovely location not as shown on the map!”

The unit was fairly spacious and nicely equipped. The location was 'private' rural with a lovely view. Most kitchen needs were well met, including some tea, coffee, oil, etc and a sweet treat! The owners were promptly responsive to quires. Our guest said the breakfast was great. Had I known more, we might have engaged their spa services. There is a nice gazebo area with a 'picnic' table/chairs and couple of hammocks. You will want your own car, but the setting is worth a drive and there are numerous restaurants and tiendas in nearby Esparza. Though not as shown on the map, it is not difficult to find, and they have placed some "signs" to help guide you at crucial turns.

A very very beautiful stay in the mountains. Our apartment was fabulous with the most gorgeous views. It was so comfortable and the breakfast Ana prepared for us each day was wonderful. The restaurant by the main gate is very good as well and only 3 mins walk. I am so glad we found this place to stay.

It was spotlessly clean, had amazing views and the most incredible tree I have ever seen. You can walk around the beautiful gardens and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

“Not what expected, but ok”

We were looking for a first night close to the airport to rest from our long trip in plane and be relax the next morning, enjoying a breakfast with the view And finally it was super difficult to find, we got lost, arrived exhausted and there were no breakfast the next morning because the landlord went in vacation So, hard time for the first night . But the landlady was friendly and the room was ok. No small light close to the bed to read but ok and clean.

Great little cabin close to town and a wonderful view. We saw lots of birds in the morning. Breakfast was good and the host was really nice.

Our cabin was lovely and had everything we needed to cook dinner. The balcony was lovely and the views were amazing. Very peaceful, relaxing place to stay. The large tree in the garden is very unique. I had a brilliant massage from Ana. After a week of hiking around the parks and waterfalls it really helped release my tight muscles. she is an excellent therapist.

Both the property itself and its surroundings exceeded my expectations. This is one of those rare cases when photos cannot show what it really is like. I will not reveal the details, but it is worth taking the time to thoroughly examine the immediate and distant surroundings! Greetings to the perro ;-)

“Great for getting back to nature”

A haven for wildlife, as you’re staying on a Finca. The views are spectacular and there are plenty of birds to see and hear. Very quiet at night. Comfortable room, all the facilities you need. Communication was great. There is a restaurant a 2 minute walk away too.

The location is very nice. The host is very helpful. I had great time sitting at the balcony and bird watching. I saw lots of birds. The view is so nice. Very comfortable stay. It's very clean.

Such a great experience! It is out in the most beautiful setting and was the perfect place to stay before we flew out of SJO. It's a container house and we had not stayed in one before. The balcony overlooking the valley was spectacular.
