Palacio De Trasvilla is in Escobedo De Villafufre, in the Cantabrian countryside, a 30-minute drive from Santander Airport. It features an outdoor pool, and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is a converted 18th-century noble house, decorated in traditional, elegant style. You will find wooden beams and stone walls throughout. All heated rooms at the Trasvilla have a flat-screen TV, wooden floors and countryside views. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers. The Palacio has a café-bar, and there is a lounge where you can relax in front of the fireplace. The hotel is surrounded by nature. You may see foxes or badgers. There are vultures and falcons in the area too.

Everything! Even with the late arrival, booking and language barrier the owner could not of been more helpful a real gentleman and exceptional host I just wish I had booked an extra day to fully enjoy

Wonderful location with wonderful views from the balcony on the junior suite Alfredo is a lovely caring host who produced a lovely breakfast and there is also a small kitchen available for guests

“A Wonderful Find”
Alfredo was amazing. Ask to see the photos of what the building used to look like. We loved everything about our stay. The room, the host and the countryside are all wonderful. There is a fridge with beer and soft drinks which you can buy

“Amazing!”

“A beautiful step back in time, with an excellent host.”
A very nice step back in time, with a really nice and friendly host. The building is 300 years old with character, so be aware that it is not a modern hotel. But we went for the old-world look and we weren’t disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone who likes the quality of life. We’d definitely visit again.
