“Quiet attractive old building renovated tastefully”
I've stayed before and it's a lovely quiet location, has been tastefully renovated with a nice outside seating area and a great indoor kitchen with tea/coffee maker and a fridge with reasonably priced beers inside (simply leave the money for whatever you have). You are left to your own devices, park in a private courtyard, hosts are very friendly and speak English. Local town Eschwege is about 5 or 10 minutes drive away and has all the facilities, shops and restaurants. Recommended

“Nice place to stay, an attractive old cottage in a quiet village”
It's a lovely old building in a quiet village about 10 minutes drive from the busier Eschwege. The owner was very helpful and friendly and spoke English, guests are left to do their own thing, tea and coffee, etc was free and available in a communal kitchen. Beer available in the fridge at normal prices, just pay for what you take. Outdoor area great for relaxing

The room and the bathroom are practically new. There are bathrobes in the room, it is an excellent amenity when arriving tired, wet and cold. The room and bathroom have heat radiators

Nice, pleasant, comfortable stay in a historic house, part of a traditional settlement in a beautiful, traditional, relatively quiet village. We found it to be exactly what was advertised. Great place to stop by during a longer cycling trip through the region. We came on a warm summer day and enjoyed sitting at a table outside and getting breakfast at the local bakery. (Clarification on the above questions: We work as university professors and this technically was part of a business trip, having stopped by on the way back from a research project in Netherlands, but we have student/backpacker/explorer mentality, and taking small roads here and then is one of the little pleasures in life.)
