“A sanctuary from a crazy world.”
We loved this place. The cabin was rustic, but had all we needed. Adele invited us to stay for dinner and even invited me into her kitchen to help prepare the meal. She taught me how to make tortillas from scratch. Her kids entertained us and her husband told us about their work on the nature reserve. She took us out on a hike through the jungle trails the following morning to see the monkeys. This place is in sharp contrast to the usual resorts and hotels, but will leave you feeling like you’ve experienced authentic Mexico. Excellent food, beautiful garden, chickens, pigs, dogs, peacocks and bees…..and the nicest family you could ever meet!❤️

Had a wonderfull stay at this place. The owner was super friendly, showed us around the property and had a delicious papaya for us in the morning. Facilities are very basic, as should be expected from a rural place like this.

“Sustainable ranch for nature lovers”
Beautiful ranch in the forest next to Escarcega. You can walk into the forest, find monkeys, you're immediately in the middle of nature! Before they were operating this ranch, there was no forest - thanks to their huge effort they managed to reconstruct the ecosystem there, with the aid of people spending one or more nights, an amazing program that hopefully continues to be successful.

“Great place to explore the nature”
The Ranch is very nice, and so much to explore. Alot of different animals, but unfortunately we didn't see the monkeys as they were a bit further away. Hosts were really nice, and in the morning showing us around the ranch, and trying to search for the monkeys :)

It's a nice stay for one night. I had expected more of the farm itself, but you can make a nice hike around the property, including its jungle. We saw (and especially heard) monkeys, which was the highlight of the stay.

The ranch is a great place to learn about sustainability and the eco-project the family is running. Stunning countryside, well managed and clean cabins, comfortable beds and peaceful environment. Perfect if you need a break between Bacalar and Palenque for example and very close to Calakmul. An authentic home run with effort and passion.
