If you decide that you really want to stay in the center of Erzurum, this is not a bad option. It’s a small hotel. Although the street outside is not very pleasant, inside the hotel is fine. It’s just a basic place. The rooms are not large, but the beds are comfortable. When we arrived, the entrance of the hotel was under renovation. We hope that these renovations, when finished, will leave a more positive impression on the traveler. The site's 9.0 rating, in my opinion, is excessive. At best, it deserves around 7.5 – 8, but definitely not a 9.

“Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Miscommunication”
I stayed at Hotel Zade in Erzurum with 2 other friends and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing due to several issues with service and staff communication. The most serious problem occurred on the day of our departure. The receptionist working the morning shift had promised to book a taxi for us for 5:30 AM the next day to take us to the airport. However, she failed to do so, and the taxi was not ordered and only arrived at 6:00 AM. This was extremely stressful and could have resulted in us missing our flight. Additionally, since we had an early flight, she also assured us that we would receive a breakfast box to take with us. Again, this promise was not kept — she didn’t inform her colleagues in the morning shift, and we ended up leaving without any breakfast at all. With the delay in the taxi, we had no time to eat anything before our flight either. On the other days of our stay, breakfast was advertised to be available until 10:30 AM, but by 9:15, the buffet was nearly empty — most of the food was already gone, and nothing was refilled. It was very frustrating, especially when we were expecting a full breakfast. We raised this issue with the same receptionist, who said she would speak to the staff upstairs, but nothing changed and no follow-up happened. While the hotel itself has potential, these repeated failures in service and internal communication left a very negative impression. I hope the management addresses these issues seriously, as they can create major problems for guests relying on the staff's support — especially with something as important as airport transfers and meals.
