I loved the location and the hospitality of Sarah and Philippe. The place is as described and has most all you'd need in your trip. Would definitely come back if I'm ever back near Tromsø!

“Great location, good price. Unfortunately with mold”

The location couldn't be better, great hikes quite remote.

It was such a cosy home from home. We saw the aurora, the house was clean and the owners were lovely.

The location is really great. We are glad we stayed here and not in the city. The hosts are very friendly. Philip gave us lots of useful advice on where to go and what to see, and also called us when the northern lights started.

We had a wonderful stay at the crush! The accommodation is super cozy, very comfortable and extremely clean. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the location is great if you have a car.

The town is located so beautiful it literally couldn’t be better.

Fantastic location in the beautiful village of Ersfjordbotn, a short drive from Tromsø about 25 mins. Ideally situated to see the aurora straight from the front door which we seen 4/5 times in the space of a week it was breathtaking. The hosts were very helpful giving us advice on where to eat and even letting us know when the northern lights were out. Highly recommend A+

It was spacious and roomy. Clean and bright. Comfy and relaxing. A very quiet location. The bed was lovely. We slept well. A well equipped kitchen. Nice big bathroom. Warm property for winter. Good views over the Fjord and Mountains.

The hosts made us feel so welcome, it's location is ideal, with magnificent views of the fjord and mountains. A lovely cafe with great food is a walk away and it is easy to get to from the airport or Tromso. Plus the host offered a fabulous photo tour with help to get the right settings on your camera for the lights!

It was our second time here, would definitely come back. All was great, we had everything we needed, the location is superb, we even saw reindeer walking around on the street.

Great location just outside of the city. Being so close to the Fjord was a bonus and very little light pollution for the Northern Lights.

“Excellent value, great location, home comfort”

I was really impressed with The Crush. Arrival was easy, and the hosts were very helpful but not at all over-bearing. The property is the bottom floor of a purpose-built double garage. It includes a very large and comfortable double bed, well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with a proper shower cabinet and has more than adequate heating. Being 20 km from the centre of the city has both plusses and minuses, but self-catering is a good option in such an expensive country. Esfjordbotn is just 5 km away from one of the finest supermarkets in Scandinavia (Eide Handel) which has just about everything imaginable in stock but also specializes in local products. The village offers nice walks around the fjord as well as more strenuous hikes, has a superb local waterfront cafe, and the views are stunning whatever the weather. Overall, I thoroughly recommend The Crush as a base for a visit to the Tromsö region.

Lovely hosts, fresh & spacious apartment.

Adorable cabin near Tromsö, well-equipped, really cosy. Good hiking opportunities just behind the house. Very nice and friendly hosts! We spent two nights here and felt very comfortable!
