What an amazing place! Wonderful host, most magnificent new hotel, with incredible stone and wood construction. Even have fireplaces in the rooms. One of only an exclusive few licensed agro tourism ventures that must produce all their own food to serve in their restaurant. What wonderful food it is as we sampled breakfast and dinner. You really must come, visit and stay a few days to soak up this authentic Albanian experience. We cannot recommend the place highly enough.

Fantastic place, great host, very friendly atmosphere. Fluent english spoken. Perfect parking. Easy to find. First class served breakfast, great evening meal if required, all from own or local supplies.

The location is beautiful, the staff is very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean. Small rooms but for the value you pay is ok. The food is delicious and fresh.

Very kind owner, we got a better room for the same price, we got a fantastic dinner and breakfast with homemade food, and everybody was so gentle, friendly and the place is beautiful in the mountains.

Sofra Kolonjare has very traditional food. We booked only for one night because of our trip through Albania. The staff (not only the family but all the staff) were kind and helpful to my family. We booked a suite in the new hotel, the suite was very well furnished. It was very clean every think give you a feeling beeing in a high level hotel. The food was very good, all organic. One of the first hotels where children are welcome. We will come back to Sofra Kolonjare.

The host was absolutely wonderful, helpful, kind, good communication, he waited until late at night, we also ate dinner, which was well priced and really delicious I have eaten the best soup in Albania there. :) The room was pleasant, with air conditioning. The surroundings are very beautiful, the road there is interesting, full of natural beauty. The breakfast was very tasty. The equipment in the room is older, but pleasant and authentic, homely.

This is a family run agriculture boutique with a very nice view and brand new rooms just 50 meters from the main area, The food was great too. Highly recommended.

Sofra is a special place in the region and the country, a labor of love by Edi and his family in a gorgeous location. You can plan a whole vacation around this spot: hiking into the Gramoz foothills; dining on lamb, fresh tomatoes and the biggest petullas I've ever seen; watching the petka and lakror-making processes. The new guesthouses at the property (a different listing on this site I think) are also very sharp and very luxe. But the whole experience is exceptional. Thanks for your tremendous hospitality, Edi - looking forward to coming back soon.
