This was a farm stay, and we really enjoyed being on a working farm, with far away horizons, big skies and wonderful stacking clouds. Typical South African Highveld.

“Great pitstop in Ermelo”
The interior of the farm stay was very creative, a piece of art. The beds are comfortable and the picnic area in front is very idyllic. We enjoyed our stay after a long day of driving.

“Perfect overnight spot on your way to or from Kruger”
Good place, just outside Ermelo, to overnight on your way to Kruger. Ilze is super friendly, helpful and provided good advice on our route to Kruger. Would happy stay there again.

“Perfect stopover around Ermelo”
This stopover was so unexpectedly wonderful. We arrived smack in the middle of lambing season and got to walk through the fields with baby lambs frolicking all around us. The cottage itself was just what we needed--well equipped with comfortable beds and sofas. The high ceilings make it feel light and spacious. 10/10 would stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s a place to be, let go and enjoy. Our kids got immediately involved in taking care of the animals and simply loved it! We didn’t want to leave, could have stayed much longer if we hadn’t to catch our flight back home.
