I liked that there was a baby crib on demand, beds were comfortable and rooms dark as well as cool. Showers had good water pressure and enough warm water. I also liked that there was a washing machine and a drying rack for clothes.

The house is situated in a small village occasionally visited by tourists aiming for the trails to Monte del Agua and Cuevas Negras. If you are a hiker or a cyclist then you have a great opportunity to find interesting destinations within walking or biking distance from the house. Of course, you will be looking for a good beach nearby so I would recommend the natural beauty of Playa de Las Arenas at Buenavista del Norte. The village itself is usually very calm and the neighbors are very nice and helpful. You have to be aware that you are going to live 1000 meters above sea level, so the weather is considerably cooler than on the coast. On the other hand, the air quality is splendid here. The house is simple and nice. The furniture provides good comfort after an active day. There are some bits of luxury like a jacuzzi and a huge TV monitor. The kitchen allows for the preparation of simple meals. We visited Monte del Agua House in December so we appreciated effective electric heaters.

A comfortable, clean property in a quiet village. Erjos is a fantastic location for hiking (although ensure you have a high quality mapping app downloaded). The property has a hot tub in a utility room which is ideal for winding down after a day's hiking. We stayed as a couple with a one year old and the property had everything we practically required. There is a decent supermarket ten minutes' drive away in Tanque and a couple of pleasant small bars in Erjos (one of which does local food centred around all things goat related). As well as excellent walks direct from the property, Teide national park is about an hour's drive and there are excellent walks in the north-west of the island within an hour's drive. The owner could not have been more helpful. They arranged a cot and a high chair on request, had helpful tips about what to do locally and were very responsive on any questions. This was a real positive point of difference.

The house was very well equipped (washing machine and tumble dryer ,jacuzzi ) and everything very comfortable. Perfect for a vacation, definitely to repeat and not want to leave. Aldo the owner recommend Bar Abreu with the typical Canarian food for dinner (included a goat meat) . We went 3 times ,always the food was delicious and staff very helpful .
