The equipment and decor were a delightful mix of tasteful and quirky, and of high quality. The ground floor was spacious. We enjoyed the garden and barbecue. There was a lot of helpful information about the area. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Very homely and cosy, beautifully decorated and lovely and clean. The bedding smelt lovely! The property is in a pretty little village that was very quiet so we had a lovely nights rest. Will definitely consider again if we are passing through!

The house was unassuming from the exterior but once inside it was well decorated and super well equiped. We only had a 1 night stay on our way back to the UK, but the beds were extremely comfortable after a long journey and the village was quiet. We had a nice evening walk and there was a very quirky gothic chapel in the village (worth a look). The hosts were very lovely and helpful.

Beautiful location. Super clean. Incredible hosts who went above and beyond to help us in an emergency . If you need somewhere to stay close to Calais, this is the property for you. We have stayed around the area a lot travelling between France and England and this place is the best. The price is so good too. You could stay a few nights and have an amazing holiday here in an area with so much history

A guiet little village and a gem of gite. Welcoming , clean and artistically decorated with a great many charming features. It was so nice. We just stopped one night on our way south, but loved it and can happily recommend Alison and Pierre as hosts. We look forward to staying there again.

Beautifully converted old café with original features . easy to get to historic sites from the place. Rural with lovely walks around the area. Welcoming and cosy and clean. Had UK channels on the TV which was great as the Paralympics were on. Had information leaflets about places to visit. Good communication with owner. Definitely recommend.

This beautiful, historic cottage offers a perfect blend of authentic charm and modern comfort. Everything was immaculate and clean, and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was the ideal spot for our four-day stay with five people and our dog. The kitchen was well-stocked with coffee capsules, tea, water, dishwasher tablets, and everything else we might need. The internet was fast and stable; we brought our own Chromecast for watching TV, but there was already one available. The hosts were very friendly and made sure our dog could safely play in the garden by placing a makeshift gate at the entrance to the backyard. They also gave us valuable tips for walking routes and fun activities in the area. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The photos do not do this property justice, it is absolutely stunning! It was spotlessly clean and very easy to check in, even though we arrived at midnight after a long journey. We only stayed for one night but would love to return and explore the area.
