Overview
Just 3 km from historic Eretria, 5-star Negroponte Resort is situated next to the sea, in an area of 11, 000 m². It offers a pool, an indoor swimming pool with hydromassage jets and a well-equipped fitness room. All rooms are luxuriously decorated and feature a satellite TV and balcony with mountain or sea views. Minibar and radio are standard. Negroponte Resort provides a basket ball court, a tennis court and a mini football pitch, all of which are floodlit. For children, there is a special pool and play area. For further relaxation, the hotel has a separate TV room. The traditionally Greek restaurant enjoys a sea view veranda. The lobby bar also boasts a spectacular view over the coast, as well as an open fire for the colder months. Guests can visit the ancient theatre, the Archaeological Museum of Eretria or the ancient temples of Dionysus that are within a 10-minute drive. Athens is 50 km away.

“Beautiful stay with excellent service.”
We stayed for 5 nights-half board option.At breakfast there was a good variety of fruit and vegetables,bread and pastry,mixture of continental and English traditional breakfast ,tea,coffee,fresh orange etc all at very good quality,at dinner there was a wide variety of dishes and drinks,all very delicious and well presented.Pool bar was handy during day while at the beach which was 20 meters away from our room(see view)Very clean and nice beach front,outdoor and indoor pool were clean and presentable.We used the gym and tennis court which were as described on the website.Comfortable beds immaculate rooms.Staff were very polite and especially Edmond who was extremely helpful and always willing to help with luggage handling,local area advice.Nice ,quiet and beautiful area to visit.Would definitely recommend Negroponte to friends and family.We felt that the hotel is a luxurious place to stay.

“Perfect hotel for relaxing vacation”
The location was right in front of the beach, so you don't have to walk too much. Room very comfortable and cozy, breakfast very good with wide choices of food, everything spotlessly clean, but the best part is staff, from receptionists to the cleaning ladies and waiters, everybody was very kind, attentive and willing to help. Our special thanks to Grigoris (I hope I spell it right).

A very nice seaside club hotel, easy to access with parking and a pleasant, human-scale atmosphere. We were given two adjoining rooms (#244 & 245), probably the best in the resort, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and pool. The welcome was warm, and the restaurant and bar staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Pool towels are provided; the pool is supervised and located right next to the beach. The sandy beach has a private swimming area, and plenty of sunbeds ensure you never struggle to find one. Guests can book directly with the hotel or through Kappa Club, which also offers activities and a daily drinks package. At the restaurant, main dishes are more varied and satisfactory. Breakfast is good, with self-serve freshly squeezed orange juice. Large mosquito nets on the windows are much appreciated. Evening bar activities are regular but not disturbing thanks to double glazing. Around mid-August, many Greek families stay at the club (lots of kids and noise), which influences the bar entertainment too. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Eretria is only a 5-minute drive away, with many small shops, bars, and restaurants. A special mention goes to “La Cubana” taverna, right on the beach, with great food, friendly staff, and easy parking.
