“Good option for the historic town centre”
It’s in the historic town centre and also allowed a relatively late check in, so a good option if arriving on an evening flight. The pizza restaurant downstairs is a bonus. Good value for money. Car parking nearby.

Nice hotel to stay in for Octoberfest just a bit out of the city in a lovely town. Very peaceful, good restaurants close by.

“Convenient, quiet hotel in the town centre”
Quiet room in the top floor with decent shower. Hotel is right in the middle of Reading with plenty of food options nearby.

“Nice hotel in a charming town, one train ride from Munich”
Stadthotel Erding is located on a pretty street, about 10 10-minute walk from the train station, from where you can, depending on the time, catch a 48-minute train straight to Munich. Our room was comfortable, and although simply furnished, had an old-fashioned charm to it. It didn't come with a kettle, but upon request, we were given one immediately upon checking in, complete with cups and tea. We didn't have the opportunity to try the hotel breakfast. All the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful.
