“Nice location and swimming pool”

Half of the campsites are nicely located along the river with lots of shade. We prepared our bbq at sunset and it was really lovely. The shared toilets are spacious and clean, with hot water. The swimming pool is also nice with umbrellas and sunbeds. The restaurant and bar are beautiful and have a view on the river. There are friendly guides available for tours to Himba villages or hikes along the river.

Beautiful location and good facilities

The waterfall although small its still makes an impression. The local staff at the resort makes up for negative as local kids was up to no good (a minor incident).

We were camping, and of the 15 places we stayed, Omarunga was right at the top of our list. The ablution facilities are well thought through, big and clean. We had power and camped on the banks of the Kunene. Great fishing, great hiking, beautiful scenery

Basic camping areas, but lovely, situated along the Kunene. Five minutes' walk to the Falls! Very nice atmosphere. Lovely swimming pool. Clean ablusions.

Absolutely stunning campsite! You just can’t get over the campsite in the palms and so close to the river. Stunning pool and bar/dining area, dinner at the lodge was very nice and would recommend. Very relaxing and just beautiful to be there and see the falls. Ablution blocks very clean and spacious. Laundry offered on site which was great. The whole lodge and camp are Solar powered too 👍🏻 The dirt road drive leaving Opuwo was not great. It was extremely long and slow. I timed us on the way back and we left at 7.30am and arrived back in Opuwo at 11am :/ I would suggest for travelers to stay as close to Opuwo as possible the night before arrival because that dirt road took ages. There was also no signage along the route from Omarunga? Which I found a little strange for a Gondwana Collective camp. There was a spray painted ‘Epupa Falls 36km’ on a rock and that was about it. I would suggest a worktop/wooden bench with sink per each campsite. There was nowhere to put anything so it felt like we were always bringing things in and out of the car or it had to sit on our eating table or on the floor in the sand. Also then we could wash dishes at our site instead of having to carry it here and there.

This was one of the most expensive we ever booked.

Nice campsite literally next to the falls and river. The restaurant and pool area are relaxing, with very friendly and helpful staff. There is braai facilities for each campsite.

The camp is one of the few in Epupa so if you go there (and it is worth!) you have not a great choice. Nonetheless we found the camp well kept. Our campsite was not riverfront but was huge: those upfront are smaller. Staff was available to help but ... (see next). Ablution area was clean.

The location is nice, facing the river. Shared showers and toilets are clean and well done.
