Overview
This guest house sits upon a fir-tree covered slope of Mount Parnassos, 900 metres above sea level. There is a lounge bar with fireplace and a Greek restaurant on site. Mavrodimos Guesthouse offers rooms with private balcony with views of the mountain. Each is equipped with heating and TV and has a bathroom with shower cabin and hairdryer. Mavrodimos Guesthouse is 21 km away from Arachova and 22 km from Parnassos Ski Centre. The Archaeological Site of Delphi is 33 km away. The European path E4 crosses Eptalofos Village and reaches Delphi, passing from the entrance of Eptastomos Cave, the southernmost glacier in Europe. Outdoor activities such as mountain bike, hiking and horse riding can be organised by the guesthouse owners upon request.

Excellent location! The staff was very polite, welcoming and helpful. We got a flat tire on our way to the Guesthouse and the owner came to help us change it and gave us instructions where we could buy a new one. Very good breakfast.

“Pleasant and cozy”
It has a restaurant next to the entrance with great food. The owner has developed a menu that is based on natural and seasonal ingredients of exceptional quality. Everything is made from scratch even the butter and bread, if you want to explore Greek culinary traditions combined with your stay you should visit

We are repeat guests! What we love about this guesthouse is the homemade, delicious food the owners prepare every day and the cosy atmosphere, the friendly banter and the wonderful jazz music playlists at all times.

“Perfect place for a perfect little town”
Everything! The hosts were very welcoming and responsive, the room and the entire place was spotless clean (even the curtains smelled nice and completely clean), the view was simply amazing and we really liked the calm overall atmosphere. We loved our entire summer experience at Eptalofos and Mavrodimos place surely was a part of that. Breakfast at Mavrodimos was as well amazing, we had the chance to try home made products, cheese, jams and fruit.

“Lovely little hotel full of character, in the heart of the mountains but close to local amenities.”
Fabulous location and place, a little off the beaten track. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay, including serving our breakfast an hour earlier than advertised one morning, and surprising us with a beer each during dinner. Breakfast was excellent and included a home made pie on the second day. We found it excellent value for money compared to where we had stayed elsewhere in Greece.

Amazing family business! Everybody was polite and cheerful always there to help and provide whatever you need. The breakfast was wonderful! Everything was homemade and extremely tasteful. “Exceptional mountain guesthouse10*”
Charming and quiet village with only a few stores and taverna, and beautiful surrounding mountains perfect for summer hiking. Cozy room with beautiful view from the terrace. Reservation with a breakfast is a must! fresh squeezed juice, hand made bread, honey covered pie, jam, goat butter, omеlet... and we hit the right time for the organic cherries. Owners are really nice people with a good taste for music.

“Amazing winter retreat in traditional hotel :)”
everything was just so lovely. the room was warm but we could control the radiator, the staff are just lovely and breakfast was especially great. the location is great for skiing and the village is really nice - quiet but a typical Greek mountain village with restaurants and cafes a few minutes walk from the hotel on the plateia.
