It’s very clean very spacious outside the pool is cleaned daily by Chris (the owner ) he’s very helpful with knowledge of the area . Plenty of cups plates etc bbq outside which we didn’t use . Beds very comfy .. plenty of pool towels and shower towels .. also there are plenty of uk plugs in the house which was unexpected. We always take our own but we didn’t need them ! This place is home from home in a very pretty quiet location .. only saw one cat here …. Few lizards in the garden which were lovely to look at .. if you want peace and tranquillity this is the place and a private pool with plenty of greenery so your not over looked by anything . This is ideal ! Deffo recommend to any one . Looking forward to going again soon .

“The perfect secluded traditional home with a private pool”

We loved our couple of weeks at the property. It’s very quiet with amazing views and a lovely private pool. A 20/25 minute drive to Paphos so a car is a must. The owner Chris was friendly and helpful.

“Great Villa, large pool, amazing views!”

Great villa in Episkopi village. The views from the terrace and balconies are beautiful! The pool is large and cleaned every other day. We met the owner Chris who is friendly and welcoming. There are shaded areas below the trees which are needed in the Cypriot heat and the air con to the bedrooms works well. A very enjoyable stay!

“We didn’t want to leave!!”

We have travelled and holidayed quite extensively but this was the first holiday we truly came home relaxed and refreshed. The property, the outside spaces, the pool and the views… oh my world so lovely! Nestled in the mountains it is so beautiful, full of nature and at night the stars shine so bright. Top tips if you travel there: 1. A small/medium car is a must. Must have enough power to get up and down some steep hills. The nearest shop is in Paphos town. 2. Google maps will take you the shortest route most times, ignore that and take the longer route otherwise you will be off road trailling along the steepest cliffs to get to your destination. 3. Pack foods tightly away otherwise you will get a wonderful surprise army of ants. 4. Take Deet or another bug spray, there are plenty of critters around ready to feast on you. 5. On your first food shop, buy cat food. There are plenty of strays that welcome some support. We befriended one we called Dotty, she is the loveliest little cat (we left extra cat food there to ensure she continues to be supported by the next guests). 6. 100% eat and drink at the „Traditional cafe Episcopi“ (just round the corner up the hill). The best food we had anywhere. Lovely kind and generous family (Mikos and George)and you will meet the locals who are genuinely the kindest nicest people. there’s not really a menu, they will simply ask what you fancy. We had a kebab and souvlaki platter. So much food we couldn’t eat it all. Very affordable too! We never go back to anywhere we have been so far, but we will definitely be back here!!

The peaceful location, ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday in the sun. Pool was great, and the Villa was amazing. Lovely views across the valley in a very rural area, away from the main tourist resorts. Very tranquil. Had all the facilities and equipment needed, and the hosts very quick to call if needed. Definitely be coming back

“enjoy in complete privacy”

The beauty of the house itself. The view. The house feels like ‘your’house. The Kitchen equipment. The swimming pool. The privacy en the quietness, just the sound of birds around. The rose garden if you choose Sermar villa, realize that there is no supermarket nearby and that the restaurant is very limited in menu choice. We did not experience that as negative. Just make sure you always have food in the house and enjoy the privacy. We loved it !

Our hosts Chris and Sofia were very welcoming, friendly and obliging and made us feel at home. Their villa is just what you need when you want to unwind and relax in a quiet area. The surroundings were beautiful. The villa is located in a quiet area where you can really relax and enjoy your stay. Easy access to Paphos and shops. The pool was spacious, very clean, and the patio area was perfect for having family meals. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Great communication with the owners. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I love the view. Huge backyard is the most beautiful I have ever been. Swiming pool was the best part of vacation for out kids. Just you need to be careful cause it is very deep. I world like to go back there so time. Magic place.

Sermar Villa is situated in a fantastic location in a traditional Cypriot village. Incredible views to the east, south and west of Episkopi. Amazing birdlife in the immediate vicinity of the villa with three different species of Owl heard and seen daily in and around the beautiful garden and pool area. Spectacular local walks with the Ezousas Walking Trail nearby. Chris & Sofia are really friendly and welcoming hosts and the property is immaculate, super clean, well equipped, quiet and private despite the fact that there are many properties around. Lovely bottle of Red Cypriot wine awaited us on arrival. Paphos is only 25 minutes away so no problem in picking up essential provisions prior to your stay whatever the duration in the wonderful Cypriot countryside.

The villa is very spacious with all amenities for a very pleasant stay. Our host visited regularly to clean the pool and generally see that we had everything we needed. Chris was a lovely, lovely man, nothing too much trouble! Location perfect for a quiet stay away from the madding crowds. Thoroughly recommended for visitors to the environment centre (fab) and the ezousa valley flora and fauna.

“Sermar Villa is like a little paradise 😊”

We very much enjoyed the views from the villa overlooking the valley, especially when the sun lightened up the local Meteora hill early in the morning. The traditionaly built house was very clean and every detail in it was tastefully chosen. We liked that the yard was spacious, the high greenery added privacy and shadow from the afternoon sun. Our teenagers of course were glued to the pool, which was especially beautiful in the dark with the light. The water in it was nicely refreshing. Overall we were very satisfied that we found that beautiful villa up in the quiet village from where we could start to discover the island with our rental car.

Our stay at Sermar villa was wonderful. The villa is located in a lovely picturesque village, a stone's throw from Paphos town (about 13 minutes). The owners, Christakis and Sophia, were incredibly helpful and were there for us in everything we needed from the very first moment. The villa was exceptionally clean, spacious, with a lovely courtyard and incredible views of a lush green valley. It was one of the most beautiful holidays we have had. The peace and tranquility of staying at Sermar villa cannot be described. We will definitely choose to stay at Sermar villa the next time we come on holiday in Cyprus.
