Location is great and quiet. The owners are very flexible and helpful. A lot of hidden gems in the area around, not stated in any tour guides :)

The hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly The room we rented was excellent although there was a need to climb a 30 step spiral staircase The hosts took our 12kg luggage without our asking to the room The breakfast was amazing with freshly sourced bread and croissants from the local bakery

I can't overstate how lovely this visit was, and would give an 11/10 if I could. They were willing to even taxi us from the train station to the hotel and loan us bicycles during our stay. Hosts went above and beyond and were lovely to chat with, giving great advice on our visit. Everything else was also excellent, from breakfast to the rooms.

Le Moulin du Bourg was our favourite accommodation in a 3 week trip across France. Close to many attractions but in a peaceful location, the excellent hosts served a lovely breakfast in a charming, spacious and comfortable room in the old mill. There was also a number of outdoor seating areas to enjoy in the private grounds.

It was an unforgettable experience to stay and sleep for two days in an old mill, in the middle of french countrydide, surrounded by rivers, creeks, forests and cultivated fields. The place is amazing, so are the owners. Helpful, openhearted, just as it should be. We totally recommend this place

What a lovely place! It is really beautiful, very peaceful. Breakfast at the terrace was lovely. We did a canoe trip to the castle, which was excellent and had a tasteful meal at the creperie.

- as you can see in all the reviews, the hosts are great! Very nice people offering good advice for everything you need - the place is an old mill so you can’t get more traditional and old than that. It is charming - nice french breakfast on the terrace with a great view - there’s a livingroom with kitchen that can be used by the guests which is great

The hosts were kind, friendly and could speak english fluently, the room was spatious and comfortable overall. The structure had a big common hall with board games and some snacks with coffe or tea. There's a beautiful view from the window of some fields with horses and also a little area outside with a table and chairs that we couldn't enjoy because of rain. We had a problem with a trip and the host kindly helped us solve it.

We enjoyed the very authentic breakfast -fresh fruits, delicious baguettes with homemade conserves (made with from fruit from the community orchard.), whilst sitting on the veranda enjoying the views across fields. Our hosts were delightful and very interesting. They kindly organised a supper for us on our first evening at an intriguing local restaurant. The property has been renovated carefully and thoughtfully, providing all modern facilities within the context of an old mill set in beautiful countryside. Will return soon hopefully!

Perfect house for a small group with large deck, bbq, character, lots of indoor and outdoor relaxing space, located for chateaux spotting. Lovely owners so helpful with info on the area.

Idyllic quiet location and most charming and helpful hosts we ever met. A lovely room with modern ensuite. The kitchen was well equipped and saved money eating in and dining room was enormous shared with one other room. Also a lovely table outside to ourselves and several places to sit in garden. The breakfast served personally by hosts was on a lovely terrace with countryside views and delicious. All our needs were attended to so thank you Beryl and Vincent. Also very dog friendly sky. Dont hesitate just book as won’t be unhappy.

Exellent guest-house, beautiful location, full of calm. Clean room, kitchen facilities, coffee machine - all the things you need. The hosts of the property are very welcoming, give good advices for travel, really care about the guests.
