Overview
Set on a privat nature reserve outside of Windhoek, Onjala features outdoor activities like nature drives, bush walks and stargazing. The lodge is famous for its very good Spa facilities and offers three outdoor swimming pools. Free WiFi is available. The rooms and suites all have a balcony or terrace with panoramic views over the landscape. They also include a seating area, safety deposit box and coffee + tea station. Each private bathroom is fitted with a shower. Guests will enjoy a set menu for lunch and dinner including a vegetarian option. Vegan dishes are freshly prepared on request. A rich breakfast is served as a buffet in our thatched-roof restaurant. Zensations Spa offers a variety of relaxing treatments and massages. Guests can also go birdwatching in the area. Onjala is located 40 minutes' drive north east form Windhoek Hosea Kutako Airport. Windhoek's city centre can be reached in an 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive. “Very very lovely stay and sensational facilities. If you stay here in one of the bungalows you will not regret it”
Very well kept property, we stayed in a new bungalow with excellent views and sensational bed and bathroom facilities. The meals were exceptional, dinners were beautifully prepared and served by professional staff. You couldn’t wish for better cuisine.

“It was very relaxing, the highlight being a 2 hour detox massage.”
Our bungalow was very well designed. Enough space for bags and suitcases, enough hooks and rails for hanging towels in the bathroom. The lighting at the beds was excellent for reading. Nice and spacious. Well done to the architect and builders.

“Immer wieder gerne ;-)”
Beautifully located lodge north of the airport and very easy to reach. Excellent as an introduction to a Namibia vacation. The private reserve is small but very beautiful and rich in wildlife. The staff are very courteous, friendly and always approachable. Super trained guides make interesting and exciting game drives possible. The cuisine is outstanding. In the evening, a wonderfully balanced 3-course menu with great spicy notes of absolute quality.

“Do not book this hotel!!!!!”
It was not possible to travel there. The roads were closed. We had to take a detour of over 4 hours. To this day we have not received any money back. No refund. Do not book this hotel!!!!!

“Lovely location, great food but A/C is definitely needed in the rooms.”
All food provided was excellent. The pools were inviting and cooled your body as we did not have air-conditioning in our room. Staff were very helpful.

“Great option for quick getaway from Windhoek to relax”
Variety of spaces available to guests so that even when then are full, it doesn’t feel cramped and you have plenty of space. The spa is excellent.
