Lovely staff,did me a veggie lunch...comfortable bed,recently new so everything spick and span

“Nice spot in Winter, friendly little town.”

This is a family friendly, modern guesthouse in a town where there doesn't seem to be much tourist infrastructure otherwise. We were greeted kindly and the check-in process was simple. Though we arrived on a day when the restaurant was closing early, it looked like an inviting environment and some locals were ending their work day there when we arrived. It was convenient for our next morning visit to the ice-breaker boat and seal park in Mombetsu.

Shower was the best part! All shampoos were great to use. There was a mini fridge which surprised me!

room was cosy and clean, i really appreciated the split toilet shower area, and the shower was really nice staff member was friendly with checking in and area was nice and quiet, wish we were there for longer to try the restaurant

Nice and clean room for an overnight stay. Great lighting too! Friendly staff (: Really great accoms considering the limited accommodations available in the area. They also provide hot water for drinks if you need it.

Stylish modern decor. Excellent restaurant with creative menu. Positive buzz about the place, young people running this hotel deserve every success. Very well priced, local sashimi of the day for 600¥! Go now before the price goes up! Left feeling happy.

Just the right place for a stopover on our way from Shiretoko to Wakkanai and Rishiri. Modern and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Good beer in the pub, both craft and Suntory on tap. Food is also available but we had already eaten.

The facilities look new and clean. I love the sitting area in the bathroom. It was a new experience bathing while sitting down.

At first we were a bit worried about booking this place due to the lack of reviews. We chose this location as it helped to break up our journey up to Wakkanai from eastern Hokkaido. It's at the junction for easy access to Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park. Rooms are above the bar. Simple but very functional. Free parking is available just behind the building. The staff are very warm and welcoming- we thought the kitchen was closed but they offered us freshly cooked scallops at a real bargain. Do bear in mind it's not a full fledged hotel so do not expect the full works. Avoid if you 1. are going to check in at very odd hours and will have problems contacting them for assistance (they are responsive over booking.com so if this is the case and you don't have a local phone number, you should be able to work something out with them beforehand) 2. despise carrying your luggage up a flight of stairs 3. can't stand small, quiet towns. We had to drive 10 min away for dinner as the nearest restaurant was closed due to the Golden Week holidays. Otherwise, it's a good, simple, fuss-free stay.
