Highly recommend Ezura Farm! The room was very spacious, and the warm hospitality from the hosts made us feel right at home. The pizza-making experience for dinner was incredibly unique and fun, and the breakfast they prepared for us was fantastic. A perfect stay in Hokkaido!

We were there for 2 nights. We fell in love with Yoko and Akito. They did the most most and the best for a wonderful stay. The caravan is small but we didn’t feel any need for something bigger. The meals where excellent. What ever we could wish was there. Getting knowing their story was fascinating. The only bad thing that I can think of about it that I am sorry that we didn’t stay for an additional night.

A hidden gem in a peaceful part of already peaceful Hokkaido. The place is immaculate and the food is great and clearly prepared with a generous dose of care. The owners are great and extremely helpful. The sauna is an asset, especially as it was -20 when I visited (late Jan). Highly recommended!!

“Relax and meet yourself again”

It’s not a luxury accommodation, but if you’re a big company employee like me, you should come to this place to find the feeling of being FREE again! The host is very nice and always available for your needs. We had the most unforgettable experience of BBQ in her barn. Everything you eat was the taste they should be, because they grew right in the field outside.

We had the best stay here in one of the cabins. Hosts were all super nice, friendly and helpful. The area is all working farms in the mountains, we loved the quiet and the views! The room was will equipped for a few nights stay. Comfy bed, a small kitchenette with a grill & microwave (which we didn't end up using). Separate bath & shower, both small but perfectly functional. Breakfast & dinner were both amazing, all local produce, fresh ingredients, well prepared.

Host Yoko is amazing! She is friendly, attentive and thoughtful. Food prepared are farm to table, all of them are very delicious. We did a farm tour which is a very special experience, lots of fun and also educational, all of us enjoy very much. The pizza making with woodfire is also one of the highlights. It is a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Warm & Heartfelt Travel Story My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 15 unforgettable nights at Ezura Farm, from July 28 to August 12. We had originally packed plenty of ingredients from Korea, fully intending to cook for ourselves. But from the very first meal Yoko served, we were completely captivated by her cooking — so much so that we ended up enjoying almost every breakfast and dinner at her restaurant. Normally, I grow tired of the same hotel breakfast after just a couple of days, but here, even after two weeks of breakfasts and dinners, every meal felt fresh and exciting. The dinners were beautifully presented as multi-course meals, and I savored every bite — not a single morsel left behind. While everything was delicious, the venison hamburg steak remains etched in my memory as the standout dish. Yoko and Akito are the kind of hosts who make you feel instantly at home. They are unfailingly kind, never once turning down a guest’s request, and their warmth shines through in everything they do. One evening, I noticed Akito quietly washing dishes on his own while Yoko chatted cheerfully with her staff — the kind of small, sincere moment that shows their dedication. Yoko speaks with her team as if they are lifelong friends, and that sense of closeness extends naturally to her guests. Although we speak no Japanese, communicating in English with Yoko and Akito was effortless. Our two-story accommodation had three cozy bedrooms, a traditional tatami room, and a spacious living room. Each morning, we would open the curtains to a tranquil view of endless cornfields swaying gently in the breeze — a picture of pure peace. The Shirataki area, where Ezura Farm is located, is wonderfully quiet, with so little traffic that even those unaccustomed to driving on the left side will have no trouble at all.

Very big house with 5 bedrooms and full kitchen. The owner has kept the place very clean and comfortable. We cooked our dinner with all the vegetables and potatoes we harvested from our farm activities.

This place is so special - a very unique authentic gem nestled in the fields and nature. The accommodations are very charming, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The view is simply stunning. The owners are lovely and we enjoyed chatting with Akito, sharing some travel experiences! The food prepared by Yoko was delicious - she made a special effort to prepare something vegan for us - which so kind and very appreciated. Ezura farm represents everything we love about travelling and would definitely be one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.
