“Perfect surfing location in Engabao.”
Daniel is an amazing and welcoming host, we instantly felt cozy and at home. In the surf shelter we spent an amazing week, 1min away from the beach at a quiet but well located housing.

We were the only guests during our whole stay, the owner itself wasn't there but his friends were always there for a chat or to answer questions. Hammocks everywhere and a nice outdoor kitchen. We especially enjoyed the rooftop with ocean view for our morning yoga and workouts.

“Surf Family”
super nice familiar hostel, perfect spot if you want to surf and meet local people! Puerto Engabao is a chill, original fishing village with lots of lovely people to meet and get to know. pigs, dogs, cats and cows hanging around, skatepark and a nice beach

I had a wonderful time there. Initially I booked for 3 nights, in the end I spent 9 nights there, I felt so comfortable. Its very calm there; in the night you hear only the sea😊 and in the morning the birds. In the kitchen/common space area you have the possibility to interact with other guests or the owners or you just chill out in one of the much hammocks😊. Daniel and his family are very friendly and have always to tell a story about the village and around.
