The room itself was very clean and nicely renovated. However, as of January 2026, the hotel was still under construction, and only about 30% of the rooms were available for use.

“An improvement on previous years.”
I've stayed at this hotel annually for many years and never had any problems. My room was one of the recently renovated ones and I was very pleased with the upgraded offering. The renovations are ongoing but they are at the other side of the building to where guests are accommodated, so I couldn't hear anything.

“Very disappointing - dirty carpets, faulty air conditioning, but other rooms had loud air conditioning that kept us awak”

“Large and Comfy.”
Room is very big and comfy. Plenty of pillows, room service kept room clean and supplied, and nice amenities. Room view was nice, and area was quiet despite it being close to freeway. Great breakfast, served hot and tasty.

“Enjoyable stay in Encinitas”
I have stayed in this hotel before, and I’m happy to return again. I look forward to staying next year also. The room had all advertised amenities, and was comfortable and well cleaned.

“Basic motel”
near the freeway and quite noisy. A super basic hotel. I believe the pool was closed when i was there. There was a large mall opposite with a health food store.

Comfortable stay for a decent price. Good location near amenities and easy access by car to beaches and nearby attractions. The staff were very helpful in sorting out my booking error.
