Located on the eastern shores of the Sea of Galilee, Ein Gev Holiday Resort is close to the Golan Heights. A wonderful starting point for exploring the area, including Kibbutz Ein-Gev, the first Israeli Kibbutz on this side of the lake and the area's Christian Holy sites. “Best value in town”
Friendly checking, awesome units, good location, excellent breakfast, awesome extras. Only disappointment is there are no plates or utensils except for spoons in the room. There is a microwave and 1 plate stove but no pots . Would be nice to add as the unit is self catering also .

“Great resort along the Sea of Galilee, with beautiful views.”
The place has been renewed since we were last there a few years ago, and it was a very nice surprise. Sitting by the lake in the evening, with the views of Tiberias is a great experience. We cycled in the Golan heights which offers great routes for clim lovers. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and we were able to cycle 4 hours early in the morning, and still get to a full breakfast after the spin. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. For example, we asked if we could have breakfast earlier than the opening hour, so we could ride earlier and they agreed (in the end we opted to leave even earlier, and get back before breakfast was over).

A wonderful location on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. We stayed in one of the cabins with a direct view of the Sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. There even was a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates waiting for us (too bad we're teetotalers). While En Gev is not the center of the universe, we were able to take most enjoyable day trips south as far as Bet Shean and north to the Golan Heights. In addition, they recommended an excellent fish restaurant on the shore at the nearby kibbutz for dinner. The breakfast spread was unbelievable.

The location is the best around the lake. Our room was straight in front of the lake and the view was fantastic. The staff is very nice, everyone with a smile and willing to help. The breakfast is fresh and good.
