“Perfect Gateway to Lac de Serre-Ponçon”

"La Maison des Vignes" is the ideal gateway to Lac de Serre-Ponçon and the area. It's a beautiful Provence-like large house with amazing views of the mountains, valley and lake, and a nice little garden. It's in a quiet spot at the end of a dead end road, within minutes drive of Embrun and with access to a lovely short forest walk at the back of the house. It has all you need for a short or longer stay. We stayed 4 nights with a 17mo baby and really appreciated the level of comfort. And we used the garden a lot! Lovely for breakfast and sunset drinks and dinner :) We spent our days out discovering the area which Dominique, the host, made easy by providing information about walks and places to explore. Dominique was a brilliant host, lovely communication and very friendly. We would stay again! And have already recommended the place to family and friends.

Very comfortable cottage with beautiful view on the mountains, the city and the lake. Being placed right on the border between the city and the forest, it allows to walk in mountains directly from the door. A spacious living room with a glazed wall opening onto a terrace overlooking the valley makes you want to stay there forever. The children's room pleased us with an abundance of board games that we enjoyed playing with the whole family. The kitchen, equipped in a modern style, is perfectly combined with antique elements of the interior. I always like two-levels buildings, and this one pretends to be the best I ever seen.
