Hotel Le Lac is located in a peaceful setting, just outside the city centre of Embrun. It is close to a lake that has a beach and recreational area. There is a well-being centre with a sauna, hammam and spa. The hotel rooms are peaceful and offer a warm and friendly atmosphere. Each are equipped with LCD screen TV with TNT channels and a private bathroom. Savour local, traditional cuisine and seasonal dishes in the hotel’s restaurant. Dine on the terrace in the landscaped garden in the summer and by the fireplace in the winter. Guests have free access to the heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub, which are open all year round. Secure storage space for bikes and motorbikes is available.

“Excellent month-long stay while visiting family.”
All the staff were very friendly. Hotel is within walking distance of the man-made lake with swimming and boating facilities. The shops (including two large grocery stores) were also within a short (5 - 10 minutes) leisurely walk of the hotel. There was a free shuttle bus service serving the town and the shopping areas. The bus stops were very close to the hotel. Advice: Not all rooms have air-conditioning and a fridge. If you need either of these, check carefully when you book.

“Very relaxing, comfortable stay!”
Really nice gardens and pool/spa facilities. Quiet in room and comfortable bed. Food was good at the restaurant and nice to take a stroll down to the lake in the evening to see the sunset. Free parking, lots of space.

A good size room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access. Easy parking. Beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and hikes, and also in walking distance to lovely Embrun centre ville. We stayed with our 2 dogs and it was very easy.

Very good location, near the lake, the river La Durance and a few large grocery stores where we could find food and everything else we needed. Friendly staff and agreeable surroundings. We didn't use the pool/spa. It looked nice though. The room had the toilet in a separate cubicle (French style) from the bathroom (sink + shower).

“Great location for anyone that is planning to spend most of their time hiking and sight-seeing.”
The staff was very helpful and polite. The location was great, very close to the lake, and there was always parking, even on really busy days. They have a nice outdoor seating area in the garden for guests, which was ideal at this time of year.
