Marinela was there at our arrival even if we were late with the flight. She provided some food for the breakfast very nice ! very nice appartement full confort. very nice view to enjoy lunch on the evening ! appreciate air cooling.

The apartment was beautiful with a stunning view from 2 big terraces and we felt like one of the locals in this tiny village a 10 minute walk from Elounda.

The house has beautiful views with a huge balcony at the front and an additional one at the side. It’s extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need. Marilena is a very attentive host making sure you are happy with everything throughout your stay and easily contactable if you need anything. She also kindly arranged our taxis to and from the airport and left fresh fruit/jam. A great stay and would recommend.

“Breathtaking view, handy location, fantastic host.”

Amazing stay The view from the balcony is truly breathtaking. Having a drink in the evening or lunch out there was truly magnificent. The apartment is super spacious, we had a family of 4 and there was ample space in each bedroom and the living room. The apartment has everything you need for cooking including some basics like olive oil, herbs etc so you don't need to buy them. There was also a washing machine and the airconditiong in each bedroom was great. The location is about 10 minutes walk from a fantastic beach where the water is so still making it perfect for little kids. What we really appreciated was Marilena who is so friendly and puts so much effort into making your stay super special. She met us when we arrived and the kids really appreciated the fruit left in the fridge and we loved the quince jam! Also Marilena's father popped over and gave us some fresh figs and eggs which was so nice and made for a great breakfast which we enjoyed with that great view!

“Amazing views and location”

The view and the location! There is a large balcony and also a separate BBQ / pergola area, both of which offer very impressive sea views. The flat is a five minute walk to the beach, a ten minute walk into Elounda and just up the road from a couple of local tavernas for eating out. Marilena was very generous with her time and answered all our queries on the local area and arranged transport for us from the airport. There were also food supplies waiting for us on arrival including fruit, bread, jam, homemade cake and some drinks. A great stay and highly recommend.

Overall: We were overwhelmed by the constant kindness and helpfulness of Marilena (the owner) and her family throughout our stay: a wonderful example of Cretan hospitality and friendliness! In addition to the warm welcome and helpful advice, we also received delicious home made gifts of jam and biscuits from Marilena, fruit and flowers from the garden and fresh eggs from Marilena's parents, who often stay in their apartment in the same building. Marilena even included a welcome array of essential food for our arrival, so we could make breakfast the first morning without having to go to the shops. Much appreciated! Marilena kept in touch with us via WhatsApp and kindly met us in person to hand over the keys and show us to the property, despite our late arrival (10pm). She was also happy to answer any questions before we travelled out to Crete. It was our first holiday abroad with our 3 year old daughter and we were so happy to have chosen Marilena's apartment to stay, as it felt like a family home, well equipped, comfortable and clean, with the most amazing views from the balcony and garden. Only a 5 min walk down the hill to the sea and approx 10 minute walk to the nearest beach, Elounda restaurants and shops, where we found all the staff to be very welcoming too. The closest restaurant to the property is only a couple of mins walk up the hill from the apartment and definitely worth a visit: The Hope Restaurant.
