The hotel was in a great location to the harbour and Elounda bay. Great access to the main street, restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a lovely view of the sea and Spinalonga, with a balcony and additional garden with sun loungers. The buffet breakfast was excellent, very fresh with plenty of choice and the restaurant had lovely views of the harbour and sea. The pool was clean and had comfortable sun loungers, the grounds were well maintained. The hotel had lifts as there were several floors and this helped with getting luggage to the rooms. Overall the hotel was generally clean, airy and the reception area was welcoming.

We splashed out on a Superior Double with Sea View which had a fantastic view of the bay, see photo. The room was well equipped but had a very strange bathroom setup - see comments below. The room, being at the top of the hotel was also close to the pool and parking. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options, although those options didn't really change. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Always with a smile and a 'hello'. The hotel is ideally located close to the town centre with a good range of restaurants and boarding points for boat trips, including to Spinalonga Island which is well worth a visit.

“Good for a quick stay”

The location of the hotel was great! It was just a couple of minutes away from a range of restaurants and bars, and a short walk from the lovely beach. There was also a small shop directly opposite (it's prices were slightly higher than some of the larger supermarkets in town but convenient). We liked the separate toilet/sink and shower room. We were given shower gel, lotion and conditioner. The buffet breakfast was also nice with a variety of hot and cold breakfast items as well as juices and coffee/tea. The staff were lovely - so polite and friendly, and were able to answer any questions we had.

The breakfast was always fresh with a good selection of food and drink. Staff were very friendly and did what ever they could to assist. Room was a lovely size and very clean, beds were amazing and so comfortable. Sun loungers were also very comfortable but were very limited as other areas were closed off, however we do apprecitate that it is coming to the end of season.

The staff were incredibly friendly and exceptionally helpful when I made a terrible error and booked for the wrong week. This was sorted and they didn’t charge me for another night - which they could have. The sea view room was compact but didn’t need to be bigger however my daughter’s garden room was massive! The hotel was clean and welcoming. Staff were all smiling and helpful There was a really good choice of foods for breakfast

Room size

Breakfast terrace!! Very hospital greeting at reception, girls will show your room. But in fact it is strictly necessary, otherwise no chance to find it in these labyrinths :D Very pleasant stay, tasty breakfasts, deep pool, and a parking at the top of the hill. In this microscopic city it is a big benefit if you drive to a hotel.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Elounda Orama! The town itself was lovely, with plenty of restaurants and a beach right in the center. The hotel was also very nice — we had a beautiful sea view from our room and even our sunbeds, which was amazing! The hotel pool was great too, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive beach towels. We also highly recommend renting a car and exploring beaches outside of Elounda — they’re absolutely worth it! In Elounda we parked near the beach and walked about 7 minutes to the hotel, since we had read other reviews and didn’t want to take any risks with the parking directly at the hotel.
