“Relaxing villa stay with great views”

The location has beautiful scenery and is quiet, you can easily walk into Elounda town or explore the island. The villa was also really pretty, it had an authentic feel to it and was a relaxing environment. Lastly, the staff were friendly and helpful, you can get good coffee from the onsite cafe and order food.

“Trip to Elounda!”

The accommodation is very beautiful! Especially the artistic works that you can visit in the garden of the accommodation. It seems like you are walking every morning in an open-air museum. The common terrace is chic and has a very beautiful view! In the evening the shores of Elounda and the Salt Lake are superb, unreal! On the other hand, the wind is crazy! And sometimes the road from the city to the accommodation is tiring, especially with a "belly" full of taverns or restaurants. The apartment is very nice and very clean, but it is on three levels - the ground floor which is nice but strange, the next floor which you reach by a staircase, where the kitchen and the bathroom are, and other stairs above where the bedroom and another bathroom are. On this level there is a balcony, a terrace with an unreal beautiful view, but which you can hardly enjoy because of the same wind. And that was slightly uncomfortable, because you have to go up and down many times, even for small things. On the other hand the area is so beautiful that you don't really stay in the apartment, but rather walk around, so it's not a major discomfort! The beach in front is not extraordinary, but you can't complain, because you are surrounded by a lot of other beautiful beaches! Our welcome was very familiar, because we found the gate open and on one of the tables on the common terrace there were "notes, letters", addressed personally to each client who was going to come. At first glance it may have seemed a dry or inappropriate welcome, but we felt as if "mother or grandmother" had left us a note telling us: - "our dears, we are not at home at the moment, we will return tomorrow morning. You will be accommodated and feel at home! Maybe our artistic nature interpreted all these small details more bohemian than reality. We felt good! The meeting with Little Jones was surprising, he was climbing the stairs in the morning and when he saw me he froze!

Location was superb, quiet and peaceful and a lovely walk into the main town. The villa was spacious, clean and regularly cleaned, fresh towels and linen every few days. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.

“Great little angle of paradise”

We liked everything! It's a spectacular small house complex in a perfect Greek style. Having 2 terraces allowed us to have meals outside even when it was windy. It's very quiet and with a great view of the Elounda bay.

Lovely simple apartment. Cool enough with roof fan without air con. Lovely hosts. Little attached cafe provides simple but delicious breakfasts. No swimming pool but virtually deserted beach within 20 yards. We will be back.

“Wonderful stay in Elounda”

We enjoyed our stay at Elounda. It was too short for us, though! Although there is no air conditioning, the breeze kept the suite nice and cool. Screens covering the shutters kept the bugs out and the breeze could still be felt. Such a quiet and peaceful location, but very close to the busy town.

We loved our stay at Elounda Island Villas . The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the bay from our balcony - a perfect start to the day , breakfast gazing at the sea ! The villas are in a quiet location just 20 minutes walk from the town with all its restaurants and bars . We ate at Kanali restaurant which was only 5 minutes away and at Nikos fish restaurant in town - both were delicious. The island has lots of small coves and beaches which you can easily walk to but we often used the little beach in front of the villas . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back .

Elounda Island Villas is a great place to stay. The accommodation is really pleasant, as are the hosts. The villas are in a perfect location, remote from Elounda meaning we found this to be a lovely peaceful stay. It is easy to walk into Elounda for facilities and amenities, and it is roughly a 30 minute walk to the main beach on the Island, although there is a rocky beach just 5 minutes away - which has beautiful clear waters and was a favourite to us. The accommodation provides water, soft drinks and beers for guests on an honesty based system. The hosts can also prepare a delicious breakfast. These touches are really nice as it makes the remoteness of the accommodation easier - e.g. you don't have to carry lots of water back to the villas. I really loved this stay and would recommend it to others.

Everything was great. The location, the view, the place is very quite and so close to the sea. Good location for short walks on the penisula. The host Lukas is the best one we've ever had - very friendly and helpful. We can recommend the place and would like to come bak one day.
