Situated only 100 metres away from Plaka’s beach, Athina offers accommodation with well-equipped kitchenette and free Wi-Fi throughout. I had a lovely room with a view of the sea and Island; it was large and a great place to stay. I really loved the decor and the kitchen was perfect. The host was charming and helped with changing pillows and local information, and booking taxis.

This property is perfect. It’s in a great location. The apartment is lovely and big. It’s well appointed. Manos the host is really lovely and so helpful. Just a wonderful place to stay.

“Great location, wonderful breakfast and the best host - couldn't ask for anything more!”
The location was superb - nice and quiet and just two minutes away from the local grocery store and restaurants. And Manolis was just the best host - he upgraded us to an even bigger room (!) and was there to welcome us with a warm smile. He gave us lots of tips as to where best to go and prepared the most generous and delicious breakfast with care and attention. He made our stay very special - we'd go back there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Manolis!

“Great choice for a relaxing short break. & visit to the island of Spinalonga.”
The staff were excellent & very attentive. Even though we arrived late at night, our flight having been delayed, our host met us & welcomed us to the property. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. The location was also very good, just across the road from the sea & close to bus stop & taxi stop. Great local restaurants & bars. Everyone was very friendly & welcoming.

“Wonderful and relaxing stay with a fantastic host.”
We had a fantastic stay in this traditional apartment. The highlight was our host Manolis. Such a lovely person with great recommendations for the area. The apartment itself was cleaned regularly, it was spacious with a great balcony and sea views. AirCon in the room was great to keep cool at night. Nice little cafe connected to the property. Plaka is a nice and relaxing place to stay.

“Great time at Plaka”
A great choice for those who prefer a more casual hotel experience. The room is equipped with everything you need. Emmanouil, the host, is very sweet and accommodating. Situated in the charming village of Plaka, just across from the water, the hotel is within easy walking distance of tavernas and Plaka beach. The tranquil bay offers calm waters, ideal for a relaxing swim. Additionally, there is a minimarket next door, an ATM machine, and cute souvenir stores. We had a great time!

Our second stay at Athina Villas and just as good second time round... Emmanouil the owner is an incredibly nice guy and nothing is too much trouble for him. Lovely seeing him again. The accommodation is super comfortable, perfectly positioned within plaka and outstanding value for money. Plaka is a relaxed hamlet with only a handful of traditional tavernas (all offering outstanding food), a few shops and a nice beach with plenty sunloungers. Everything is a stones throw from this accomodation. For a relaxing break away from hustle and bustle look no further than Emmanouil's Athina Villas! Although the cafe at the front wasn't yet open during our stay as we stayed "preseason", I can confirm from our last visit it's a lovely spot to sit in the shade and have a drink or two (it opens 1st May FYI). Can't recommend this location enough... we'll be back.
