“Old fashioned service and excellent location makes this a perfect place to stay!”

What a great little hotel nestled just outside Elorrio overlooking the mountain and the local church (don’t worry, the bells do not start until 8.15am!) Although it is opposite an Eroski distribution centre we never experienced noise or disturbance throughout our 4 day stay! The clever planting of trees also made it disappear from the hotel. All the staff were truly wonderful and could not do enough to make our stay perfect! Everywhere was beautifully clean and well decorated. The rooms were old fashioned but extremely comfortable with everything you needed. The shower was always the right temperature and lots of pressure too. The beds were extremely clean and linen changed daily. It was very hot during our stay but the hotel was cool and the veranda was a perfect place for breakfast and evening drinks. We used the restaurant twice - the food was well cooked with lots of choice and although not the finest of dinings it suited our needs and we never left hungry! We were visiting Bilbao to watch the Rugby Champion Cup where accommodation in the city was highly inflated because of the rugby weekend. The hourly bus service to Bilbao was just over a hour and was under €5 each way so saving ourselves a fortune over the weekend! We can’t thank the staff enough for all their help and excellent service throughout our stay - thank you!

“Great place to stay”

Comfortable, quiet accommodation. Room very large, with a nice mountain view. Excellent walk-in shower. Cafe available for light breakfast and snacks. The staff here were wonderful, when I needed help after a cycling accident! Elorrio is an interesting and attractive small town.

“Uninspiring but good value.”

Good value hotel just under an hour from Bilbao ferry port, so ideal as a final stay. Wonderful that reception let us use their car park for our 6 motorcycles. Good shower.

“Great hotel and fab staff”

The hotel was excellent, all the staff made our stay special, breakfast was particularly good, we were asked the night before what we would like and it had all been prepared specially for us. The high point was a g&t on the terrace when we arrived as wee watched the sun set behind the mountains The car park is huge, and free for guests,

The room was great, the bed and the pillows were really comfortable and the bathroom is huge and elegant. But most important is that the collegues were really helpful and flexible. Beautiful town.

“Great staff, nice town, very handy for country setting but not far from ferry”

Staff were very helpful. We had car with trailer and bikes on roof as we had come from camping in France and they let us park in underground garage which was brilliant. We got ferry then from bilbao next day

Very friendly staff , it was quiet, big room and bathroom very nice. Could have done with air condition We had underground parking for our bikes with a lift directly to our floor

Good size,comfortable room with fabulous shower. Amazing views, lovely to sit out on the terrace for beers in the afternoon and breakfast in the morning. Helpful staff, excellent secure bicycle storage and good, fast wifi.
