“Great stay”

We were not the easiest guests - we had a dog and a baby. But the staff was the greatest, it made us feel welcome and comfortable every single day, let us park the car in front of the apartments because of the baby and even packed us a huge food bag when we left early and skipped breakfast. I love the idea that you can pack a snack from breakfast buffet (which had a variety of options and was delicious). We noted that the bed and bedding were really comfortable, the room smelled great. Its in the town centre - right next to the tourist info centre and 1 min walk away from ski bus stop, 15 min walk away from the gondola. Overall, we don’t remember any other place we travelled where we had such great hospitality. Thank you

“Great location, clean and cosy rooms, fabulous breakfast”

Great location in the centre of Ellmau - right near several restaurants and the ski bus stop. Rooms are modern, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was fabulous and the little lunch box provided to be able to take some snacks away was very thoughtful.

“Wonderful stay in Ellmau”

Everything was really good for the price. The room was clean and spacious, and we had a balcony facing the main street. The apartment is right in the center of Ellmau, so everything is close by – shops, restaurants, and the ski bus stop. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and both my wife and I even got small boxes to pack some food for our hiking trips – such a nice touch! We had our own parking spot right in front of the guesthouse, but even if it’s full, there’s a large free parking area just a few minutes walk away. The stay also includes an online guest card that gives discounts on various activities in the area, which was very convenient. A special mention goes to Andrea, who works at the reception and in the restaurant – she’s incredibly friendly, always happy to explain everything, chat with guests, and help out in any way she can. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ellmau!

Great host, amazing breakfast, well equiped room.

Location and breakfast are very good.

The location of the pension was fantastic, close to restaurants, playgrounds, bus stops and other attractions. The staff was super hospitable, helpful and caring. We got a lot of very useful advice about attractions and transportation. The breakfast was delicious. A very good choice of everything a guest could wish. Our room was spacious with a balcony and comfortable beds. We highly recommend this place when visiting Ellmau.

“Welcoming Tyrol”

Very friendly owner. Located in the center of Ellmau. With variable food on breakfast. Owner cares of your daytime and suggest to take a food in container to have a meal on the mountain. Very kind from them. Rooms have all necessary facilities for staying.

Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast

- very very very nice breakfast every morning, with a lot of options and delicios cakes :) - the room was spacious, with a nice view of the mountain - very friendly host, we got there pretty late due to heavy traffic and she found a solution for us to check-in late (we told her that we would be late) - the room and the bathroom have pretty new and nice furniture, it looks very modern

Perfect in all ways! Andrea are the best! She with the staff made my stay perfect. Location is in a central. Will definitely come back next summer! Ellmau is so charming.

The hotel has a great location. The biggest advantage is that the bus stop is right next door, so it was easy to get to the main lift with the kids. Another important aspect is that there is a children's ski school nearby, so we walked the kids. The room was spacious and had a balcony. There are even several cafés nearby. “Pension Rainer is the perfect place to stay in Ellmau!”

A loved Pension Rainer, Andrea, Gabriella were excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly, so knowledgeable and helpful in ensuring we knew what facilities were available at the Pension and the Ellmau Ski Resort. The breakfasts were the best we have enjoyed anywhere and we would highly recommend staying here. We would definitely wish to return. Everything was spotless, the rooms were a good size, comfortable, excellent bathroom and stunning views from our balcony, the facilities for skiers were fantastic and our week stay was absolutely perfect in every way. Although in the centre of Ellmau which made it easy to explore, it was lovely and quiet so a good nights sleep was always had. Many thanks to Andrea, Gabriella and Ramona was making our stay so very special.

“Pension Rainer Ellmau”

Location is perfect right in the middle of town. For the price (we had 3 in a large room) it was very good vfm. The bus stop is a 30 second walk and ski shop right underneath the block.

Staff were lovely, the location is central to the town, with only a 20m walk to the ski bus which was every 15mins. Very convenient for ski hire and storage.

“A lovely pension with a great host”

This pension is right in the middle of town, we had loads of space and it was so well equipped. There is a ski bus stop right outside and a supermarket next door. The owner is so lovely and we felt really cared for by her. There is ski storage at the pension but we chose to hire a locker by the gondola to save carrying everything on the bus, worked well for us.
