Overview
Situated in the heart of Ellmau, at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountains, this family-run property since 1832 is a former farmhouse converted into a hotel. It features a restaurant, bar, garden, and parking garage. All rooms are individually furnished and feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the on-site restaurant, offering healthy and creative cuisine, or relax in the large spa area. “A very special hotel.”
Everything. Our family have been coming here for our ski holiday since 1994 ; not every year because ski holidays are pricey, but we all love this family hotel, it's like a second home. This time was the first holiday with the next generation of our family; Mrs Hochfilzer and her staff welcomed us as old and valued friends. Thank you, Ingrid!

A spotless and well-maintained hotel located right in the heart of the city. The staff is exceptionally attentive and ready to assist with any request. The ski slopes are just a short walk away, as are the ski schools and equipment rental shops, making it an ideal choice for a convenient and enjoyable stay.

Comfortable room quiet and the bed was great although one slat was broken and kept coming out at the bottom. Spa facilities and pool are really nice and its a good set up with children over 6 yrs as you can use sauna and steam room and one adult can watch kids its all in the same area so works well. Does get busy though!!

All the food - breakfast and dinner - was outstanding - amazing choice and great taste the pool and hot tub - perfect after a day out walking the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful
