Overview
This hostel is located in the centre of Ellmau, just 50 metres from the slopes of the Wilder Kaiser Ski Area. It offers free Wi-Fi, a sun terrace with barbecue facilities, and a lounge with a TV and a snack bar. The rooms at Alpking Hostel feature bright wooden furniture. Bathrooms are shared. Guests of the Alpking can play table tennis and billiards, and use a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Free private parking is available on site. Cross-country ski runs are 100 metres away, and the Hartkaiser Ski Area is 700 metres from the property. A ski bus stops 50 metres away. The Wilder Kaiser-Ellmau Golf Course is just a 5-minute walk away, and the Kaiserbad public swimming pool can be reached in a 10-minute walk.

It is not enough for what you pay. The room is small, toilets and shower are shared, checkout is at 9am and you're expected to take out the bedsheets to the reception. Would be a great place for 30€/night.

“Good short stay at the alpking”

“Overall we had a fantastic stay.”
We were very impressed by the hostel. The facilities were great and very clean, as was our room. We spent time in the common area, admiring the mountains and watching the euros on the tv. The kitchen was also clean and well-equipped.

“Great hostel”
Really clean, great location. The shared bathroom and shower were close to the room so it was ok and also spotlessly clean. The kitchen is great, you can cook there, there is a coffee machine and fridges.

Great hostel! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the facilities very clean and comfortable - we've had the best shower during the whole trip! Lockerbox was also a convenient option in case of early or late arrival.

The host of the Hostel was very nice to deal with especially as we arrived after 11 pm as our flight was delayed. He was very help full and easy to deal with during our stay. Nothing was a proble.
