8-10 mins tuk tuk ride up the hills from Ella town but the views of the homestay made up for it. Bed is big and comfy, allowing for a great rest after a long day. Shower can run a bit cold sometimes but it’s welcomed under the piercing sun and heat. No hairdryer in the room but seems to be a common theme in most homestays but there is a standing fan to help. Exceptional breakfast and the staff Dhanu is very helpful in arranging tuk tuks. Homestay also helped to book my bus to Colombo, which has been quite frustrating trying to book on my own. Overall recommend to stay here!

“Breathtaking view”
The view is breathtaking! It was really magical to wake up there everyday. The breakfast was very delicious and filling! The room is really big and comfortable. Dhanu was always very kind, polite and helpful.

“Fab views, comfy bed, super helpful and lovely family!”
Great accommodation with fab views over Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. We booked 2 rooms for our family stay. Beds were comfy, the accommodation was simple but perfect for our one night stay in Ella. The family owners were super helpful with tuk tuks into the town and our transfer down to Yala! Oh and the breakfast was great too! A memorable stay! X

Amazing stay. Best yet in Sri Lanka. Views were incredible! Comfy beds, but mainly they looked after us so well. They sort you out TukTuks wherever you need to go which are cheaper than the ones you find at the side of the roads. They even took us to the monk temple and waited 2 hours for us to take us back. If you need anything you can just message them and they will help. We had a tasty breakfast everyday with a view and no trouble from any monkeys. We really recommend staying here it’s Amazing value for money, we couldn’t believe how amazing the views were.

“Wonderful stay with breathtaking views”
We had an amazing stay here. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise. Charuka was an incredibly kind and helpful host, assisting us with transport arrangements while in Ella and even after we checked out while we were staying on the coast, which we really appreciated. The family also has a restaurant right next to the accommodation, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful place with incredible scenery and genuine hospitality.

Absolutely incredible! The room was spacious, the view was the best view I’ve ever had before. The sunrise every morning was beautiful. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The staff were really helpful and kind. Breakfast had a lot of variety too.

“Highlight of of our trip”
Will was a brilliant host. The included breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Different both mornings. The view from the room was breathtaking. The room itself was very high standard for the price we paid. Will was accommodating with any request and question we had. He helped us arrange transport. Will and his family were so kind to us. We would have stayed longer if we could.

“Best place to stay in Ella.”
The view of the room is gorgeous, you don’t need to go hiking to go see a great sunrise. The breakfast was amazing, we even got tea when we arrived. The family owning the place is the nicest, they really helped get a tuktuk to the temple and how/what buses to take.
