“Beautifully Sri Lankan”
Our host Sudha was so lovely and welcoming. The location is perfect with beautiful views close enough to town. We did the cooking class too which I would highly recommend great food and lovely atmosphere cooking with a Sri Lankan family.

We staying in the tent and we had panoramic views of Ella, the beds were comfy and we had a dog friend we liked to call Susie. We celebrated new years with the family it was amazing

“Excellent”
I felt as part of a family, the lady running the business gave me good tips to walk around Ella and explore nice gems around. I would highly recommend this place! Location was also very good - in a quiet spot but only a few minutes walking from the main road and 6 to get to the train station. Good bakery on the corner called Nanda Restaurant.

“Beautiful tent, awesome breakfast and near to Center”
I liked the tent with the beautiful surroundings, the good warm shower, the cats and Suda, who cared for me so well. The breakfast she made for me was awesome and its only a few steps to the center of Ella, which was great. Totally recommend!

Our stay was perfect. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We felt at home! The breakfast is very good. Good position, very close to the center of Ella. Great for Pekoe Trail!

“Good location and lovely owner”
The owner was super nice, made a cake for my birthday and helped is with our transportation to the next place. Kids loved the animals. Location is up a little hill just oustide the main street of Ella, own terrace between the tea feelds.

“Great homestay! Lovely hosts :)”
Lovely host family, very friendly and accommodating. Right by the train station and a very short walk to center of town. Location superb, would reccomend! Breakfast great and a lovely setting to eat at. Fan on overnight was enough without needing AC.

“Warm welcome from a lovely family.”
Location was great as it was a short walk to the main road with restaurants and shops but far away enough so you were not disturbed by the noise. The host family was incredible warm and welcoming taking care of our needs and playing with our daughter. Most delicious breakfast we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far.

OMG, what a gem! The location is perfect, tucked away but still close to everything. The host is sweet, thoughtful, and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast is not to be missed..one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Also, their adorable fur babies just made our stay even more memorable. Couldn’t have asked for a better Ella experience.

“absolutely perfect”
was absolutely amazing! the location, the rooms, everything was perfect. the owner was very kind, we loved her pets, especially her dog bubbly. we also had breakfast in the morning that included pancakes, fruit, eggs, bread, coffee, everything was perfect.

“A perfect location for Ella”
the location is perfect, you are right at the top of the high street and can walk to everything. The lady who runs it speaks perfect English and is so sweet. She loves hosting and is really helpful. The breakfast was huge and really tasty. The rooms are dated but you are paying such a cheap price that you would expect that. You are paying for the location
