Great location, amazing hosts, delicious and plentiful breakfast, comfortable rooms with all the amenities! You can walk to 9 arch bridges and little Adams’s peek, we did both in a day and walked. Huge breakfast which was great! All toiletries & everything you need supplied.

Loved our stay here! The location is perfect, super close to the main road but very very quiet. The room is spacious and has everything you would need (no ac but not needed as it gets chilly at night in Ella), the outside patio is also a plus. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the host and her family were nothing but nice and helpful. Really recommend!

“Beautiful, comfortable, amazing value.”

I absolutely loved this homestay. I only wish I had discovered it sooner so I could stay more than one night! The room is immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. It also has everything you could need - tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, a hairdryer, medicine cabinet, lots of plugs cotton buds and more. It is close to town, but far enough away that is was quiet and I slept like a baby! The hosts are attentive and the breakfast is absolutely beautiful - so much delicious food for one person. This place is excellent value and I would highly recommend staying here.

“Very clean and comfy room and super nice host”

The room is located just outside of the main strip so it’s quiet, but within walking 2 minutes distance of everything that you need. The host has thought of literally everything a traveller might need for the room - toothpaste, toothbrushes, a first aid kit, extra plug sockets, even q-tips and toothpicks! The bed is super comfy and the room is extremely clean. The breakfast we had was amazing! The food is very well cooked and tasted lovely. We actually wished we had longer to stay here because it was so lovely! We’ll definitely be back!

“Brilliant centre of Ella stay”

Spotless Comfy clean bed - not hard or over used! Lovely host Great location, centre of town but thoughtful natural screening of trees and plants hides the construction that is all over Ella. You have a wonderful breakfast with birds and the occasional monkey. Plenty of soft / new towels

“A perfect stay”

We loved our stay at the Dream Homestay. The location was perfect - close enough to enjoy restaurants in Ella and walk to Little Adams Peak and 9 Arches bridge. The property was really comfortable and clean with lots of nice touches. The host was lovely. Very friendly and welcoming and cooked a wonderful breakfast! Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful time at The Dream Ressort and stayed 3 nights im the end. It was the most beautiful accommodation and best breakfast we had so far in Sri Lanka. It's very close to the center and still very quiet. You have a beautiful terrace for yourself and the room and bathroom are very clean. The host and her family are super friendly and helpful and she's doing laundry as well. Would come back anytime!

We have really enjoyed our stay at the dream homestay! Everything in the accommodation is thought out to the smallest detail: like having adaptors for electricity, spare toothbrushes and even a medicinal cabinet. The location is just a 5 minutes from the Ella center, but at the same time it is tucked away in a quiet and calm street. The highlight has been the home cooked breakfast by the host, very delicious and generous!

Excellent location, just a few minutes from the Main Street in Ella. The rooms/apartments were comfortable, quiet and had everything no we needed. The breakfast each day was amazing!!!!

Absolutely huge beautiful room, bed was really comfortable, it was really clean and the duvet was perfect- al fresco breakfast which was massive. Host was really lovely and sorted our laundry for us. Location was good for us as away from main hub which is reachable within 5 minutes

Really nice location, central but far from the noise of the main road. The place is clean. The woman who welcomes you is super nice and caring and really made our stay here much better. The breakfast is amazing and she really wants you to have a good time.

Lovely comfortable bed and large room with a fridge which was a bonus. Breakfasts were amazing and so many different foods to try with fresh fruit. Short walk to Ella (5mins) but peaceful in the evenings. Hosts were so helpful and kind even driving us in their tuktuk at 4am for sunrise hike. Also can organise laundry which was appreciated. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka thank you so much!

Greeted with tea and biscuits, what a nice touch. New soft towels were a treat. Huge, tasty breakfast. Free water bottle in fridge. Late check out was not a problem. Absolutely delightful host. So much to like!

We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka here, with daily changing local dishes and fresh fruit platters that were truly delightful. Our host kindly prepared takeaway food for our journey to Mirissa, including our favorite freshly made roti. The room was very clean, with sufficient facilities. Even without air conditioning, the hotel’s shady and green surroundings made it easy to sleep comfortably with just a fan. It is also within walking distance to the bars and restaurants in Ella. We are very happy to have met this family and enjoyed such a wonderful time in Ella.
