What a beautiful place to stay in Ella. Very friendly and helpful owner. He also has a tuktuk so no problem getting anywhere in and around Ella. (He even picked me up and dropped me off at the railway station at no extra charge.) The place is on a hill so you wake up with a fantastic view of the area. I enjoyed walking to the supermarket which is quite an exercise (elevation). The room was spacious and i loved the balcony. I also enjoyed his 2 dogs, lovely animals. The breakfast was fantastic, a selection of fruits, pancakes and eggs. Loved it!

We had a great stay at the accommodation. The host is very friendly and showed us the best spots in the region. In addition, two rooms are currently being renovated. These are almost finished and have a great design. We were allowed to take a look inside the rooms. All in all, we had a very good time.

The hosts that run this place were super nice and very welcoming. The room was absolutely great and had everything I needed but by far the best feature was the balcony which gave commanding views of the stunning scenery. It was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a beer in the evening watching the sun go down. The breakfast was by far the best I have had on this trip so far and I don’t see that changing. It was very delicious and came in such large portions that it was difficult to finish everything. This was served on the balcony every morning I would urge anyone intending to visit Ella to seriously consider staying at The Dream Inn as it’s a very cool place and exceptionally good value.

This was a wonderful stay in Ella! We were treated like family by Krishan and Hansi they got us lovely food - breakfast and tea was superb! The room was wonderfull and clearness. I spent a night here and I really enjoy it.it is astonishing the view.

This was a wonderful stay in Ella! We were treated like family by Krishan and Hansi- they got us a cake as it was our anniversary and also gave us so much lovely food - breakfast and tea was superb! The room was massive and bathroom also, amazing views and the balcony was our favourite. You can see the waterfall, Ella rock, little Adam’s peak and even the train passing. Dont be put off by less reviews - it’s a new place- it’s a must stay in Ella and we will defintely come back - especially to see the lovely resident dogs who protected us our whole stay. Thank you Krishan and Hansi!

This place is amazing! Probably the best in Ella in my opinion. I spent a night here and I really enjoy it, it is astonishing the view and and room is super comfortable and clean. Stunning view and hospitality! I absolutely enjoyed my stay with Krishan and his family. They just newly built and opened this homestay (hence you should give it a try, many reviews only come with many guests ;). I was so happy to stay at their gem, the balcony views made me want to sit there in awe and look out into the landscape for hours. You can see beautiful sunrises from there and also the little Ravanna fall and a part of the train driving through the fields on the way to Kandy. The room was very comfortable and everything was clean. Best blanked I had during all my trip. The room is also equipped with a fan for hotter days. The breakfast was delicious and Krishan would pick me up or drive me to places whenever I needed it and at much better rates than inside Ella town. It is up on the hill and a really scenic, quiet place to stay outside of Ella's hustel-bustle (and that's a person in their 20ies speaking :) I enjoyed my time so much that I changed my travel itinerary and extended my stay in Ella so I can really recommend it from all my heart!
