Beautiful view! The owner is very kind!

Everything, the guest house is in a super quiet area outside the noisy centre of Ella, but by a walk distance. The views are amazing and the staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the bed very comfy and the shower perfectly hot. I would definitely recommend this place!

I love everything about this place!! The place is owned by a family and the dad and daughter was so sweet and kind to me. They were checking upon me that I had everything good; they offered me a delicious breakfast, multiple times tea, ans even food just before I checked out. They also let me stay a bit longer (kate check out), which was super kind of them. I was the only guest at that point so it was so nice, calming and good. The view is incredible. The accomodation is 15 min walk to Ella town, very walkable distance. They offer tuktuk driver if you need. The room was big and very clean! I will definitely come back to this place if I return to Ella!

We felt very welcomed here and had a great stay. The property is close to the city, and only takes around 15 minutes to walk. It has a great view, and before sunset you can see the monkeys playing around the property.

“Lovely and quiet guesthouse with Sri Lankan breakfast”

Nice room with a lovely view on Little Adam’s Peak. The owner is really helpful and friendly, his wife made us every morning a wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast. We felt very comfortable here and stayed 3 nights. The terrace is perfect to relax and enjoy the quiet area. There is just one more double room nextdoor so it’s nice and quiet. Come here and support the locals!

Sunburst was absolutely stunning. You’re nestled in the trees with a stunning view. The host and his family were just incredible. They were so welcoming and kind, the breakfast was delicious every morning and when we left for our early train on our last day they even made a packed breakfast for us. The room is comfortable and clean. Honestly it was a magical stay! You share the balcony with one other room but there is plenty of space and still feels private. The road to it is a bit more like a track but tuk tuks and car do drive up it. You can easily walk into Ella as well. If you’re looking for a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of Sri Lanka, this is the spot! Thank you for having us! We loved it!

Really good location and gorgeous view on the terrace. For a low cost night it's good. Breakfast great and owners were lovely. There was rainfall when we were out and they very kindly packed away our clothing which was hanging out! Would reccomend :)

“Peaceful stay with incredible views!!”

This was one of our favourite stays so far in Sri Lanka. If you want somewhere peaceful in the mountains with incredible views then this is the place!!! The host was so friendly and made a lovely breakfast each morning ( the coconut pancakes were delicious!!!) the room is simple but comfortable, hot water and a lovely balcony (shared with your neighbours I should add) where you can enjoy the views of beautiful Ella. You are about a 15 min walk to town but this isn’t a problem as we enjoyed being away from the busy town and it’s only a 4 min drive in a tuktuk. You can also access Ella rock hike from the back of this hotel via the stairs which was handy!! All in all a great stay

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is peaceful yet not too far from the center. The breakfasts were amazing, the view was breathtaking, and the bed was super comfortable. The host was incredibly kind – we had an early departure, and he even prepared a snack pack for our journey!

The view from the balcony/terrace is really amazing, especially in the morning. Comfortable bed, friendly & welcoming host. Located a bit out of the busy and noisy center, a lot of nature around and close to hiking trails.

Personally, perfect location. Easily walkable to the town centre (about 15min, dark at night, take a flashlight) but without the loud music and town noise. Amazing views with nice sunrise. Host very kind and helpful. Kind of on the way to Ella rock, with maps.me there's a nice way from the alley where the house is to the train track to start/finish that trek.
