Amazing View into the Tea Field from the lovely Terrace (Morning sun). Spacious bungalow (Good privacy some Steps down from the Main House) plus a wifi that is actually working. The Host Lady is super Sweet and prepares a lovely honemade Sri Lankan breakfast and helps with questions, transportation etc.

Your own slice of paradise, tucked away in the forest. Waking up with the sun shining through the trees and listening to all the animals was such a treat, and one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. The room was basic but very clean and had all the amenities you could need. Dinu and her family were very helpful with organising services for us (laundry, Tuktuks & a late check out). It’s out of the centre but that gave us the quiet we were looking for and was only a short walk or Tuktuk ride into the centre.

The breakfast and the view from the terrace were great! You are in the middle of nature. The host is super friendly and helps with everything you ask for.

“Nice stay in the nature and close to Ella town”

The room si spacious, with windows that give us light and amazing views. There is hot water and all what you can need at the washroom . Is very cozy. Amazing to observe the nature around, birds, squirrels and we saw early at morning some deers !

We had a great stay at Rivinu Holiday Resort. The location is perfectly tucked in the mountain but still very close to the city. We were able to rent a scooter and book a cooking class for a very good price. The family running it made the experience extra special and every interaction brought a smile to our faces. Thank you so much for everything we hope to stay here when we come back one day! ❤️😊

“Peace and quiete in the hills”

The property is awesome! It is located on the hills, 600 meters from the main road of Ella. The cottage is very cozy and quiet, a few steps away from the hosts’ house - this guarantees total privacy. You can have breakfast on the lovely terrace that faces the hills while listening to birds singing. The host family is the sweetest, always smiling and ready to help with any need. They provided me with a scooter, a lift to the train station at my departure and lots of recommendations. They can provide breakfast and food if you tell them with a little advance.

Rivinu holiday resort is amazing. The room is clean, the view is amazing, the breakfast is great and the hosts are the kindest people we met. They invited us in their home for a cooking class, drove us to the yala national park and helped us with everything! Highly recommend!

Staff was very kind

Eranda and his family are the nicest family we met on our trip in Sri Lanka. Their cottage is spacious, clean and has a great view in the morning with a pleasent breakfast served. Hot water in the shower as well. The location is perfect, in the nature and just out of town. Don't let you scare that. Eranda offered multiple times to drive us to Ella town. The way back from Ella town (15 min) is mostly down, so most of the times we chose to walk this back. A 10/10 stay! We would recommend 3 nights in Ella.

“Great stay”

We liked view from our hut and hospitality of Dina (I don't remember correctly her name) the owner. Each morning we had delicous homemade breakfest. The room and bathroom was clean. We had warm blanket as well. They arranged for us tut tuk to the train station for good price. Thank you!

Fantastic hosts, I was greeted with tea & biscuits & it was cool after the south. The host took me to the sunrise start of a trek & took me to the train station. Beautiful fsnily, nestled in the tea plantation.

“Calm stay - lovely family”

It's a lovely nice family! Eranda was very kind and helpful. He shared with us some recommendations about local places that we wanted to try, and offered to pick us up and drop us at the train station on his day off. The location was great for us. In the middle of a tea garden away from the noise but still reachable within 7 min by scooter from the town. The room was very clean with a private bathroom and balcony. The bed is super comfy, we slept very well here and we had all our privacy.

Had the best sleep here in 20 days!! Beds were unbelievably comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious. Surrounded by nature in amongst a tea field, out of the way from the busy town of Ella. Family were beautiful, friendly and kind. Reasonably priced.
