“Quite place to stay just off the main strip”

Hotel is in a good location, a short walk (or tuk tuk ride) from the main strip in Ella, it’s therefore close enough to the action but also quiet. The room was modern and clean. We had a front facing room with a balcony which had lovely views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave early one morning for one of our activities and they made us the tastiest scrambled egg sandwiches we had the entire trip plus fruit which we particularly appreciated given we had a toddler to feed.

“Great views and lovely staff”

This property is really well located for staying in Ella, walkable into town and not far from the sights. The staff and owner are lovely and really helpful. I really enjoyed the pancakes and tea on arrival and the breakfasts. The view from our room of Ella gap was amazing. The accommodation is done up to a very standard and the staff go out of their way to help you with things like fresh tea when you would like it. I understand people’s comments about this property that it doesn’t have a standard bar or chill area like hotels do but despite this, it’s a lovely place to be. It only has 6 rooms so it’s more like a boutique guest house. What you are paying for is the excellent service and view and the location

The ladies who run the hotel are so friendly and hospitable, it's a real hime away from home. Breakfast is exceptional and our hosts insisted on providing us lunch one day as well, which was delicious and very generous. The hotel is an easy walk from the centre of Ella and is quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful garden and gorgeous views. It was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka

“A lovely place to stay with kind host”

Room had fantastic view of Ella Rock. The owner, a big personality, and staff were very helpful all working as a team. On arrival we were welcomed with a snack of pancakes with banana and tea which was appreciated.

Very friendly owner and stuff who took care of every little thing we needed. And we’re very generous. Room was very clean and specious. Overall it is a small hotel only 6 rooms with calm and familiar atmosphere. Great location

We just enjoyed every moment. The staff is pleasant and kind. They help with everything. The breakfast is delicious. The location is excellent. It's just fun.

Wonderful friendly staff , on arrival we were made tea and the most delicious banana pancakes . Tbe view is out of our room was out of this world and the breakfast kept us full all day !

“Not worth the money”

Clean rooms and good location slightly out of busy town but still 3mins walk

Need more cleaning.. the toilets was not cleaned for that whole time we spent there. also there were times that there was no hot water in the shower and also not enough water pressure

An easy short walk (along the road) into Ella village - just a few minutes, making this convenient. Yet it’s also away from most of the noise and activity - quite peaceful. Lovely, kind staff (thanks again ladies!). Good (and very generous!) breakfast, including packing up some things when we left very early on our last day. Enjoyed the views to Ella Peak, and spotting monkeys and mongoose crossing the pretty garden, as well as seeing the birds. Comfortable, spacious room, and bathroom was fine. The owner spent time chatting - and giving us useful walking route tips (the main thing we came here to do as part of the huge variety of Sri Lankan experinces - and was well worth it). The Ella area “jungly” hill country scenery and greenery is a highlight.

“Stylish, warm welcome, close to town”

Made very welcome. Lovely staff - couldn't be more helpful. Traditional-style, super-clean room with balcony. Traditional furnishings. Great breakfast. Easy walk to town - a few minutes. Private and very little road noise. Easily accessible - many places in Ella are not!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were offered a pancake and tea when we arrived, which was lovely. The room was comfortable and had a fantastic view. We liked the fact that Ella was just a short walk away.
