“Mixed feelings.”

Good location to explore around Ella. The man is very kind that works there, I think he’s the owner. The cafe looks cute with a nice view.

Really nice hostel, chill vibes, nice common area and the owner was very helpful with helping us arrange transport and other activities.

Lovely place to relax away from the town but near the sights - nine arch Bridge and mini Adam's Peak. The staff are very kind and helpful and the breakfast is good. Thank you. 😊

Incredible experience overall! Very friendly staff and manager. Really clean rooms: Special shout out to the insanely good bedding - randomly the best, most comfortable and sturdy mattress I've slept on in my entire life. Very fun vibe at the hostel. Exceptionally good breakfast provided each of the two days I stayed there. Close to Nine Arches and Little Adam's Peak.

“Vibrant, Colourful, Tasty Foods, Helpful Staffs”

The hostel gives a colorful and rock vibe all the time. The owner and other staff are amazingly helpful. They helped me in every possible way to make my trip easier and stay more comfortable. The foods taste awesome even though a little bit pricey. But sitting in the open dining area with stunning views made it worth it.

Staff are very nice. Relaxed, social atmosphere. Perfect for small group or solo travellers. Owner is very nice local guy. I also stayed at his other property the other side of town (Monarch Ella). Which is perfect if you want more space and private bathroom. Both properties are opposite sides of town but both are close enough to walk to the centre of Ella 5/10mins, they are also up on the hill a little on rach side with nice views and away from the congestion in the centre of town.

what sets this hostel apart is the attention to details that Sanjeev and his staff puts in. The bathroom is always clean, small lockers for valuables in the dorm, your bed gets done, yummy breakfast that changes daily… plus the comfy sofas and hammocks are awaiting you to chill and socialize on the deck with a peaceful green view. What else can you ask for ? it get like home away from home! highly recommend this place and would love to go again :) Thank you for your warm hospitality

Very nice owner! Great place! Awesome location for viewpoints and things to do! I little bit of the main touristroad, which is super nice! And still close enough to everything. Delicious and changing breakfast. They don’t take advantage of you being a tourist!

Nice and quiet, very good vibes and the staff is great! I felt very comfortable and ended up staying longer than what I was suppose to.

“Cheap and cheerful stay with a beautiful view”

The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and nice. I particularly enjoyed the pancakes in the morning with the plate of fruit. It was also great that filtered water was available, you don't always find it! The staff were also very helpful on giving recommendations on places to go, how to get there and how much to pay.

Excellent excellent hostel. I spent a week here and couldn't have felt more comfortable. The hostel is excellently located on the edge of town, being much quieter than the other hostels. But it is still less than a 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants, etc. (start of Little adams peak and 9 arch Bridge trail as well). The hostel has easily the best view of any hostel in town, looking over a valley with wildlife and children playing cricket. I really enjoyed finding new things at this hostel from artwork I hadn't seen before to binoculars left out to look across the valley. I met some great people at the hostel, but for a social drinking night, I went to Hungover Hostel for a few nights. It goes without saying but the owner and staff are amazing. I would be lying on the couch and have a breakfast cooked and made for me. So as bad as it sounds I'd have a delicious breakfast while just laying down with a nice view. Felt secure there with all the cameras and often just left all my stuff out.

I really liked the place. It is calm and the staff is really friendly and helpful.🌞 The location is good, it is close to beautiful nature and some hiking activities, but also close to the town (maybe 10min walking).

Bed was super comfy and the staff were very nice.

My favourite hostel stay in Sri Lanka by far! The views are breathtaking, the room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was delicious! Super close to the Nine arch bridge and the Little adams peak. Everyone working at the hostel had an amazing energy and the hostel was social if you wanted it to be. I would definitely stay here again, thanks:)
