“Calm and comfortable space close to Ella town center”

Really good stay close to the center yet in a calm location just 5mins walk from the town. Staff is really helpful with everything and anything, be it laundry, water refill or extension power socket, bike rental and general idea about the itinerary.

Location was good. Not much noise from the road. Some nice yoga places nearby.

Great place, situated just off one of the main streets in Ella, up a little hill with a great little terrace. The breakfast was great and staff, very helpful - overall very good!

It's a place for 1 max 2 nights. Due to mould in bathroom, dirty curtains, and mouldy ceiling, it doesn't give a very clean & inviting vibe. The bed was clean, tho, with a big mosquito net (which definitely needs washing) Hot water was a plus. Also well located

breakfast not our cup of tea to be honest, but otherwise fine place. location is good, away from Ella noise but up a steep hill which can matter for some. Host does not understand English very well, but passable.

This was excellent location, away from all the noice and in the same time close to the center. The stuff was very friendly and helpful guy. The place had hot water which is rarely the case for this price range.

“Great location, but needs deep cleaning”

​I stayed here for one night while hiking the Pekoe Trail. The location is convenient, the breakfast was okay, and I slept well. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Even for a budget stay, it needs a deep clean, the curtains need washing, and the walls need a fresh coat of paint. It has potential, but hygiene should be a priority.

Gowtham was a great host, always happy to help and cooked us an amazing dhal. The location is very close to the main road, only a few minutes to get there. Good size bathroom and bed area.

A fairly spacious and very clean room, it also has a good bathroom that is also clean and the beds were very comfortable and clean.

“Cozy and central”

The room was clean and offered everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the blankets so cozy that we didn't want to leave the bed! The best thing was the location, as it's so close to the city centered, with everything you'd need in walking distance.

“Lovely staff!”

Really spacious, clean and comfy room! The location is great, up a bit of a steep hill but otherwise right in town. The staff were very sweet, and made delicious breakfast each morning. It was lovely to sit out front and chat to the other guests. For the price, we’d definitely stay again :)

The best part of this property is its location! All the supermarkets, cafés and restaurants are nearby, super close to the train station. Quite walkable to and fro if you have lesser luggage on you. The 9 Arch bridge is also quite close by. The breakfast spread was also abundant in portion.

I had such a great stay at Moonlight Holiday Home. The room was very big and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. sk was very helpful and a very nice person. Thankyou for making my stay so enjoyable
