“Peaceful escape with amazing staff”

friendly staff. The location is perfect, just outside the center of Ella (only an 8 minute tuk tuk drive), which makes it nice and quiet since the town itself can get quite busy. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Definitely highly recommended.

Fantastic location, brilliant staff, lovely room and amazing food

We loved the location, it was close to Ella town but still in a way more quiet area which we enjoyed. The view from the restaurant and our room was amazing. It was only a 7 minute Tuktuk ride into town and the staff was very helpful with arranging the rides. The breakfast was great and they also served food for lunch and dinner which was great. The staff were very helpful regarding anything and made the stay special!

The staff went above and beyond, the rooms were very clean and tidy and comfortable. The view was amazing from all the different balconies. The inclusive breakfast was absolutely amazing and consistently delicious. Great food came from the kitchen consistently.. Surrounded by Tea Plantations

Amazing view and our room was right next to the pool. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They arranged a tuk tuk for us (pick me doesn’t happen in Ella!) and this property is not walking distance (well not easy with luggage). We visited Little Adam’s peak and left at 5am. They provided us with a packed breakfast and then they gave us a massive breakfast when we got home later.

“Beautiful mountain retreat”

We LOVED our stay at Misty Villas! The hotel is located a few minutes from Ella (short TukTuk drive) and we loved staying right outside the town as Ella can get quite crowded. This hotel is just what we were hoping for when we booked a hotel in the mountains: you wake up with beautiful views of the mountains while you breathe in the clean, crisp air. We travelled as a family of 4 and stayed in the the rooms right next to the pool (one on the ground floor and one on the first floor) and really liked these rooms. They were not only spacious, but also nicely decorated and we had our own little balcony. Our daughters also loved the small, yet refreshing pool, especially after a long hike! The staff is truly amazing (shoutout to the hotel manager!) and they go above and beyond to please you. We also loved our breakfast (two days of breakfast buffet with lots of choices and final day served breakfast, also amazing) with beautiful views of the mountains. Ella is a busy, but cute town with nice shops, spas and very nice cafes and restaurants (make sure to visit Rainbow Cafe for lunch!). We also enjoyed our hike to Ella Rock, which is a 3.5-4 hour hike with breathtaking views.

What a service 👏 it was beyond the expectations of my wild imagination, Owner Mr. Danapala is a very humble mañana accommodating, my Hart fell salute 🫡 and gratitude 🙏, I have not seen a manager like Mr. Rushing very carm and respectful to his guests, his assistant who is the working all around like a 🐎 sorry forget your name is good kind guy,this villa and its future is nothing to worry about, again I will be looking forward to my next stay 😀 😊 ❤️

First of all, location is perfect; very close to the city center but far enough to enjoy the calm & the beautiful nature that surrounds you. The owners are always here to guide you through the area and book whatever you need at a fair price. Tips from Ella: choose the right things to do! The room is super spacious with confortable bed and a terrasse from which you can contemplate the landscape and listen the birds’ songs in the morning. Breakfast is included + is generous (coming with eggs, sausage, potatoes, multiple fruits and tartines…)

Absolutely everything was fantastic the owner is amazing helped us book a safari in yala, his restaurant is a great breakfast is wonderful staff, rooms are super clean and spacious pool and view is stunning it's a wonderful hotel just a short tuk tuk away from the main hub highly recommend this little gem . Very good breakfast, nice views from the room & restaurant terrace. The staff was very nice & helpful. They went beyond their way helping us when oue transfer was cancelled and arranged a new transfer quickly. Room was very clean and nice. Pool was cold which was good for a refresh after a day in sun. Hotel is not near main road but the staff arranges a tuktuk in a couple of minutes when needed.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to provide food for my fussy kids. The view from the restaurant was amazing. It was so calm and relaxing here.

We wish we could’ve stayed longer at Misty Villas. The breakfast was huge but very tasty, the pool was delightful and the room was spotless.

Pool is very nice, the room are clean and very convenient. You can get to the city very easily and for cheap with a tuktuk. The manager is a great person and will arrange anything for you. I would completely recommend this place !!!
