“Beautiful views, very relaxing place”

The staff were very friendly & really made every effort to make our stay as good as possible. They go out of their way to help. The rooftop infinity is great with awesome views. I put a review in for my partners birthday & they decorated the room, and on arrival all the staff brought him a cake & sang happy birthday.

We loved our stay here. The staff could not have been more welcoming and our room was massive with a stunning view over Ella hills. The swimming pool was a brilliant addition as well. Despite it being quiet the hotel staff went out of way at breakfast which was brilliant and we had such a lovely time here.

“Nice hotel, not delux but spectacular views make up for it”

A very warm welcome from the reception lady and a lovely room with an exceptional view. The pool wasn’t as big as it looked on the pics but it was nice and I was the only one in there anyway! The view is spectacular and kind of makes you forget any small niggles. Other staff were also talkative and friendly and we felt welcome. Good location, not far from Ella centre and only 5 mins by tuk tuk.

“Wonderful spot”

Our room was huge and the view was spectacular. The location was ideal for everything we wanted to do and close to the main part for food and drinks at night. The staff were very attentive and kind.

Everything, I was very kindly upgraded to a room on the 7th floor, which was large and with the most incredible views. Staff were all super lovely and helpful

I have stayed in many hotels in Ella and driven past Misty Hills many times but never considered staying. Now that I have I will never stay anywhere else. We stayed in a very nice room with a balcony and was right next to the pool. The large Queen size bed deserves a special mention due to it being the comfiest I have ever slept on in Sri Lanka in over 20 years. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even got us some fresh aloe vera for sun burn. The infinity pool was outstanding and not as cold as I was expecting, you can chill and look at the views from the edge off the pool. There was secure underground parking where I could safely leave my motorcycle.

“Stunning view for the beginning of the day”

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and the drinks were just as enjoyable. The view was truly stunning and made the whole experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our room was perfectly clean and very comfortable, which made us feel at home right away. One thing we really appreciated was how helpful the team was in organizing transportation – even for longer distances, they were happy to assist. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, offering a great variety and a perfect start to each day. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again.

Very beautiful views from the hotel. Great location, close to the main street with many cafés and souvenir shops. There are tuk-tuks available nearby, and there’s also a shop right under the hotel.

“Clean, comfortable, gorgeous views and pool and tasty breakfast!”

We only stayed 1 night and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was stunning with beautiful views over the valley. Bed was super comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was amazing. The pool was also really nice to cool down in. Breakfast was buffet style and was really good too. Probably one of the best value places we have ever stayed ! Definitely a very good place to stay if you’re in Ella, it’s only a 10 minute walk into town.

“Best hotel in Ella”

Absolutely loved our stay here at Misty Hills. We had the best room with four poster bed. So clean and tidy and big lovely balcony overlooking the hills and waterfall. The food and restaurant overlooking the hills were stunning. Staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to help us with anything. Recommend staying here. Regards Debbie and Nick Stephens
