“The most relaxing place to stay”

This property was so relaxing, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious, the host friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing, definitely the best we had while in Sri Lanka. Ella was a 10 minute Walk from the property or a short ride in a tuk tuk.

Amazing location and view, the host was extremely helpful in providing general information on the best restaurants, things to do and the added bonus of having his own tuk tuk to get you to those locations. All amenities were excellent.

A lovely little hotel based on the edge of town, a 10 minute walk (slightly steep and busy hill road) or 2 minute Tuk tuk ride! Ella is a lovely if not a little too touristy town, but this is a great place to stay, very quiet with spectator views of the surrounding hills. Our host was very accommodating & helpful, he even picked us up a Pizza, one evening, from town and delivered to our terrace! A very comfortable & clean space to relax in after a busy day exploring the area. Breakfast on the terrace with those views is something we will remember - thank you!

Delightful location, overlooking the surrounding lush hillside and waterfall. Quiet and relaxing place but only a 10 minute walk to the bustle of central Ella. Very comfortable and clean rooms with great AC. Nice patio area to chill and play cards in the evening before heading into town. Staff were exceptional, so kind and friendly. It is a real family run place. The breakfasts were gorgeous and a real sight to behold - a smorgasbord of delicious local curries and a platter of fresh fruit. Would absolutely come again!

“Beautiful views and fabulous food”

Really really happy with our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was by far the best we've had in Sri Lanka, freshly cooked and so varied. Close enough to town to walk but tuk tuks readily available including one by the host.

Amazing views and location (only about 5-10min walk to the town) Everything about our stay here was incredible, our rooms had a beautiful mountain view, aircon, comfy bed, hot water, kettle and mini fridge :) Everything was very clean too! “Great Stay With A Beautiful View In Ella”

I stayed at Lavendra Paradise for 2 nights. The hotel is located just outside Ella away from the main road. The hotel is quiet and has a beautiful view from the room. The room was clean and comfortable.

Absolutely loved this place. Very small family run with excellent breakfast including both Sri Lankan and European options. Beautifully decorated with amazing views and about a 10 minute walk to the town centre and all the restaurants. Service was great, they couldn’t do enough for you.

Lovely views from the hotel. The room was clean, had good air conditioning and everything that we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even arranged our laundry for us. The breakfast was excellent and had good variety over the days we stayed here. Great location within walking distance of Ella, we had no issues with the road from Ella to Lavendra Paradise

“Great accommodation in a stunning setting.”

The location and view are stunning. The rooms have a patio where you have an excellent breakfast of home cooked, local food. The view and atmosphere from the patio are wonderful. The owner, Shan, also provided us with tuktuk transport to town and various sites of interest. The convenience this provided can't be overstated. We will hopefully visit again in the future. Highly recommended.

Magnificent breakfast on a balcony with views to die for. A 10 minute walk into Ella which is very convenient. Our host Shan (?) was really friendly and helpful in every way. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything works!

Wonderful location and panoramic views, amazing and plentiful breakfast each morning, incredibly warm and welcoming family, beautiful spacious room with fantastic artwork throughout the property. The manager arranged for our washing to be done prior to us departing. If we are ever back in Ella we will definitely be staying at Lavendra Paradise. Would give them a rating of 11 if we could.

“The perfect place to stay when visiting Ella!”

I loved everything about this property, it was extremely clean and while Ella is much cooler than other parts of Sri Lanka the air conditioning made for a beautiful sleep! The breakfast was also incredible - so much food, I didn’t need to eat lunch!

Best views and best breakfast in Ella. We stayed here three nights and the location was perfect. Not as hectic as in centre of town. But still only a short walk into town . Large room, great views from outside terrace onto Ella rock, through Ella gap and mini Adams Peak. Very friendly.

“A peaceful sanctuary in the heart of Ella”

This hotel was perfect for my needs, the room was large enough for a short stay and it was clean. The view over the mountains of Ella was unbelievable and such a peaceful environment to be in. The breakfast served in the morning was substantial and I was spoiled for choice. The owner was always available for help and to take me/pick me up to and from the centre of Ella which was particularly useful as I am a solo traveller. Overall had an amazing time here!
