Fabulous location and great breakfast,staff super helpful.comfortable bed.big room, we had a beautiful stay!

On the plus side, the owner communicated well and his brother was very helpful and charming. The location, even though rather basic, was at least quiet (except for the dog that started barking from around 7am!). The shower was good and we were provided with bottled water for no extra charge. There was a good, if ridiculously large, breakfast provided.

Went above and beyond. Great location. Clean and modern rooms. Delicious breakfast.

The accommodation was very clean and the interior was pleasant. Breakfast was good, and the front of the terrace was a garden, so there was a feeling of a resort. Fantastic stay with a great host! The Sri Lankan breakfast was lovely. They helped us organise laundry and taxi services, as well as lots of recommendations!

Lovely place close to the city center of Ella. The staff was very helpful, friendly and easy to contact. Our room was decorated for our honeymoon which was a very nice touch. The breakfast had variety every day.

Too much good to say about La Casa bElla and Gayan who took care of us, the room and facilities were perfect, Gayan delivered a different breakfast every morning and they were all delicious. We had the newest room with air-con which worked really well. Gayan took us out to Ravana waterfall, cave and temple which was great. The location is perfect also.

Exceptional stay - friendly and helpful staff, exceptional food and service, great location in Ella. We drove in a tuk and the owner assisted us with purchasing some brake fluid and oil, which was very much appreciated.

We had a beautiful stay. Gayan was so welcoming and nice, ensured we were comfortable and we enjoyed our breakfast which he took great pride in. He was always smiling and happy to help. It was close to the Main Street but still further enough away from loud music at night for a good sleep.

A lovely stay that struck the perfect balance – tucked away from the city buzz for peace and quiet, yet just 5 minutes from the center via convenient stairs. The breakfasts were exceptional, but what really touched us? Finding a fresh breakfast pack waiting at 3:30 AM for our 4 AM departure. That's thoughtfulness you don't forget. Clean, cool, comfortable, and cozy – everything you need. We left happy and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
